Since this is being reported in the New York Times...I'm not sure of its veracity. (That's what we used to say about the National Inquirer...)

But at first blush it does feel good to read it.

Which is, of course, why I distrust it completely.

Imagining that these malignancies on society would spontaneously wither and die is too much to hope for. No doubt they are merely reorganizing and will appear under different names generously funded by George Soros.

But for the moment, it just sounds good to hear ACORN is BANKRUPT.

Of course, in the end the NYT report degenerates into a wall of excuses and finger-pointing at "right wingers". But still, it had it's moments.

I'm not sure how to characterize Joe Klein at Time Magazine.

I guess the best way I can put it is...if he says Obama "won the summit", you can pretty much bet the farm that he fell flat on his face.

Klein seems to have taken some kind of draught from behind the looking glass. His analyses are so skewed that it's hard to recognize events and people he writes about—the images and facts are so distorted.

It's difficult to believe that he actually sees things the way he writes. It would be hard to imagine anyone so out of touch with reality being able to function in the everyday real world.

The only alternative is that he still believes that Fringe Media liars can still frame the debate...the dialogue, reality.

Poor Joe. I don't think he's figured out yet that Time Magazine is a dinosaur, a pathetic remnant of his own inglorious past; of a time when the few instructed the many, when the truth was shaved and nuanced and spun to suit the agenda of the few privileged elites who reported them.

Poor Joe. The world watches, sees, reports, discusses, concludes. And Klein presents his costume drama of an alternate reality, seemingly unaware that the world has "moved on". (To quote the original Gunslinger, Roland Deschain of Gilead.)

I don't recommend you read him unless you understand this. Otherwise, you might imagine something he says is accurate...and it will just piss you off or depress you unnecessarily.

The first two videos on the CNN(!!) website,  about the Tea Parties, are pretty darned good.

When Rick Sanchez takes over in an interview on the third one, his almost hostile defense of Obama is pathetic.

But the Tea Party spokesman handles it quite well. Especially the loaded question about the "inappropriate" signs....

The fourth is a short Scott Brown answer...and I quit after that...

Øbama's mug showed up again. And it's just more than I can take.

Does Bambi understand the concept of "LYING"? And the evil immorality of doing it to all Americans—all the time?

Perhaps his Pinko upbringing was the same as fundamentalist Islam:

He also doesn't get called on it by the Ho-Media - who apparently operate in accordance with the same dogma.

NYT Thinks Its Telling the CNN Story; But They're Wrong, as Usual

This is funny. CNN drops to last place - fourth - against all other cable news networks, including its own spinoff, HLN.

The story, in the New Yawk Times uses the numbers to show how badly CNN is doing. What the numbers really show is how great FOX is doing. Check out these numbers...

For the month, CNN averaged 202,000 viewers between the ages of 25 and 54 – the group that television news organizations use as their basis of success because of their advertising sales. That was far behind the dominant leader, Fox News, which averaged 689,000. But it also trailed MSNBC, which had 250,000 viewers in that group and HLN, which had 221,000.

Now the big story could be than CNN is slightly lower than MSNBC and HLN...or it could be that FOX has almost three times more viewers of the golden demographic in prime time than the distant second place network....which trails far, far, far, far, far behind.

What we have here is the Big Bad WOLF and the three little piggies. And it hardly matters which little piggy is a quarter of an inch shorter than the other two.

Serioulsy people, who covers the "news" this way?

In a TOTALLY UNRELATED story...."Newspaper Circulation Drop Accelerates"

The New York Times stayed in third place at 927,851, down 7.3 percent from the same period of 2008. Its Sunday edition remained the top weekend seller at 1.4 million, a decrease of 2.6 percent.

Does anyone but us see the irony here?

This story is an annoying and a biased one...for example, referring to the Southern Poverty Law Center, without mentioning that they are a radical, extremist Left-Wing group...

And note the quote:

Notice they use "reportedly" to cast doubt on the fact that it happened—and yet presuppose it to have happened, by implication, in the next sentence describing it as an "emergency response" according to the government.

If there wasn't any gun confiscation....what exactly is the government describing as an "emergency response"?

And so it goes on.

But the fact is, this article relates the existence and growth of Oath Keepers (despite the provocative and ludicrous title) and that's a comforting thought.

Okay, I admit, I'm not up on this story. I'm glad the kid's okay, and the rest in uninteresting.

Because I'm not paying attention to it, I don't know all the facts. But it seems to me this guy is getting persecuted by a media, apparently with nothing better to do—never mind that the country is on fire—because he's peculiar.

I don't trust a single thing the Slobbering Media says because they are incompetent, lying bastards, as they've proved repeatedly and beyond a shadow of a doubt.

And now we've got "Child Protection" government goons looking to destroy the family because a 6-year-old said something that smells like blood to the sharks.

If the whole things was a hoax, Daddy should have to pay the entire costs of the "rescue" operation. Period. Teach him a lesson.

Apparently the "Rock Stars" (according to the U.S. Slobbering Fringe Media) who were the glowing brilliance in Copenhagen over whom the entire IOC could hardly contain their gushing (according to the U.S. Slobbering Fringe Media)...

...and who each gave brilliant, scene-stealing speeches—about themselves...

...were rejected by the racists in Denmark.

And the U.S. Slobbering Fringe Media is beside itself in disbelief.

I am smugly amused and generally delighted by the result. Watching the grotesque (my new favorite word) egos of these two narcissists get slapped down in a world forum was emotionally satisfying to a degree I would be ashamed of if either of them had ever displayed the slightest patriotism and love of country, concern or respect for its people and their welfare, or the smallest understanding that they are not, as America's First Couple, supposed to behave like jet-set Euro-Trash royalty.

The Fringe Media is actually using the word "Failure" and "Humiliation" in their shocked headlines...juxtaposed with the sacred name, "Obama".

They will, no doubt, correct that as soon as they come to their senses. But for the first time since they became aware of their Messiah, they are being inadvertently truthful about him.

The "reverend" Jesse Jackson wants to know "what happened". He is "shocked and saddened" that what he calls America's "A-Team", the 'Bamster and ME-shell, could possibly have come away empty-handed. Rush joked that he will demand an investigation.

The U.S. Slobbering Fringe Media Myth that these two are the ultimate power couple—stylish, European, sophisticated, and internationally adored World Citizens—has been exposed as the fraud it has always been.

And it makes me feel just a little warm and fuzzy inside.

Doesn't tell us anything we don't already know, being consumers of Fox News and Talk Radio, but it's nice to hear it, nevertheless.

Could this New York Times article be more determinedly clueless? Almost every sentence contains a stupidity, a misunderstanding or ham-handed misdirection that would make a child blush.

First they report that Socialism in Europe is experiencing a slow death, then immediately exclaim their surprise that that should be so considering the current economic crisis is a "failure of capitalism". And they bemoan the fact that the Left has been unable to capitalize (interesting choice of words) on this failure of capitalism.

They go on in the same vein, arriving at the wrong conclusions, asking the wrong questions and ascribing the wrong causes...every single time.

My GOD, no wonder nobody reads the rag anymore!

I suppose the title should have given me a clue of the boneheadedness to follow: Europe's Socialists Suffering Even in Downturn.

It's sort of like saying: "Everything is getting wet, EVEN in this rainstorm."

Crazy 'Xine's Real Agenda

Listening to Rush. A caller just described her conversation with Crazy Maxine's (Waters) office.

Taking her at her word that Crazy Maxine wanted to know "what we (Tea Party Patriots) think", this caller immediately called Waters' office to let her know.

She was told in no uncertain terms that Crazy Maxine didn't want to talk to her, that they weren't interested in what she had to say, and that they DIDN'T CARE what she thought. And then they hung up on her.

So...there you go.

Obviously we all knew that, and I suspect the caller did too. But it's funny when Crazy Maxine just acts out so publicly and obviously and heavy-handedly and quotably. (Not for nothing is she "Crazy Maxine").

What she wants is for the Fringe Media to confront people while they are at a Tea Party—presumably in the full grip of their racist emotionalism—under which circumstance she assumes they will blurt out their fundamental hatred of Øbama's skin color.
