He does it so often, so regularly, it seems like a way of life. He's not embarrassed or shy about it. He does it as casually as breathing, lifting his chin and flaring his nostrils.

He also doesn't get called on it by the Ho-Media - who apparently operate in accordance with the same dogma.

The Anointed Øne just ended the requirement that Unions disclose where they get their money....money that they give to Leftist campaigns that undermine the rest of the country and the American Way.

That's the best and most accurate description of the Obama Administration. Threats, intimidation, strong arm tactics, payola, dirty union corruption and ACORN street thuggery.

He desecrates the White House by being in it. He and his henchmen.

And even though I'm a Rightwing Extremist and and Enemy of the Zombie State...it isn't just my politics talking. Michael Barone, a generally calm spoken, reasonable, intelligent and well-respected columnist and journalist - has some mighty strong words to say about:

But my sadness turned to anger later when I heard what bankruptcy lawyer Tom Lauria said on a WJR talk show that morning. "One of my clients," Lauria told host Frank Beckmann, "was directly threatened by the White House and in essence compelled to withdraw its opposition to the deal under threat that the full force of the White House press corps would destroy its reputation if it continued to fight."

After that came a denunciation of the objecting bondholders as "speculators" by Barack Obama in his press conference last Thursday. And then death threats to bondholders from parties unknown.

The White House denied that it strong-armed Perella Weinberg. The firm issued a statement saying it decided to accept the settlement, but it pointedly did not deny that it had been threatened by the White House. Which is to say, the threat worked.

The same goes for big banks that have received billions in government TARP money. Many of them want to give back the money, but the government won't let them. They also voted to accept the Chrysler settlement. Nice little bank ya got there, wouldn't want anything to happen to it.

Left-wing bloggers have been saying that the White House's denial of making threats should be taken at face value and that Lauria's statement is not evidence to the contrary. But that's ridiculous. Lauria is a reputable lawyer and a contributor to Democratic candidates. He has no motive to lie. The White House does.

This is what respected and respectable people are saying about the ZerO Regime. That is definitely not a good sign. Not for the country, and not for the TOTUS thugs. This is the sort of public perception that brings down even kings.

One can only hope.

"American" Cars?

The UAW is going to run Chrysler.

Oh....along with the government.

Wow, that's gonna result in a great car, don't you think? Can wait to laugh...er...see their new line. The unions really made serious concessions. Like, when workers get laid off, the company will only pay half of their salary instead of "most" of their pay.

Oh man, that sucks!

Have you ever in your entire life, been paid "most of your salary" by a company that laid you off? I don't even know what that means. And shame on the auto companies for ever agreeing to such an absurd policy.

Doesn't make it very difficult to understand why they went belly-up, does it?

Loyalty to the American Idea requires me to not lend my support to statist/collectivist takeovers of industry. I won't be buying an American car anytime soon.

It is not necessary to tell you the news that Arlen Specter has switched sides to make a 60 vote majority for the Democrats. But I did want to share my impression of it.

Did you ever see the movie Dune? Think of the mutant guys kept alive by artificial means...who ought to have died.




Arlen Specter is one of them. This obsolete, scabby, wasted, tired, useless old man, clinging single-mindedly to power—for its own sake—would betray his country and sell his grandchildren to hold on to the power that he should have passed on to the next generation long ago. His unnatural, unseemly power-lust is disgusting to see, nauseating to watch.

He is the man who will not die [metaphorically speaking, of course].

No sacrifice by or of another is too great for his insatiable hunger. He'd suck his kids dry to extend his own life by 20 minutes.

He was going to lose—by choice of voters—and he knew it. And so he abandoned what few principles, and whatever dignity he still had. And should he win as a Democrat, he will crouch on a field of battle where his victory will mean nothing, and do honor to none.

Yes, he throws the Looters their winning vote. But he cleanses the Republican party by his absence. I think we might have got the best of this deal.

All the Looters got was the sort of husband that cheats on his wife.

And they can have him.
