From the Mailbag...

This morning, this came in my work email. You're welcome...
It seems there’s a lack of focus in politics:

Republicans don't understand THE DEBT CEILING.
Liberals don't understand THE DEBT CEILING.
Democrats don't understand THE DEBT CEILING.

Allow me to explain:

Let's say, you come home from work and find there has been a sewer backup in your neighborhood. Your home has sewage all the way up to your ceilings. What do you think you should do? Raise the ceilings or pump out the shit? Your choice is coming in November. Don't miss the opportunity.

From the Mailbag

This isn't new, but it's still good...
Alan Simpson, Senator from Wyoming, Co-Chair of Obama's deficit commission, calls senior citizens the Greediest Generation as he compared "Social Security" to a Milk Cow with 310 million teats.

Here's a response in a letter from PATTY MYERS in Montana ...
I think she is a little ticked off! She also tells it like it is!

"Hey Alan, let's get a few things straight..

1. As a career politician, you have been on the public dole for FIFTY YEARS.

2. I have been paying Social Security taxes for 48 YEARS (since I was 15 years old. I am now 63).

3. My Social Security payments, and those of millions of other Americans, were safely tucked away in an interest bearing account for decades until you political pukes decided to raid the account and give OUR money to a bunch of zero ambition losers in return for votes, thus bankrupting the system and turning Social Security into a Ponzi scheme that would have made Bernie Madoff proud..

4. Recently, just like Lucy & Charlie Brown, you and your ilk pulled the proverbial football away from millions of American seniors nearing retirement and moved the goalposts for full retirement from age 65 to age 67. NOW, you and your shill commission are proposing to move the goalposts YET AGAIN.

5. I, and millions of other Americans, have been paying into Medicare from Day One, and now you morons propose to change the rules of the game. Why? Because you idiots mismanaged other parts of the economy to such an extent that you need to steal money from Medicare to pay the bills.

6. I, and millions of other Americans, have been paying income taxes our entire lives, and now you propose to increase our taxes yet again. Why? Because you incompetent bastards spent our money so profligately that you just kept on spending even after you ran out of money. Now, you come to the American taxpayers and say you need more to pay off YOUR debt.To add insult to injury, you label us "greedy" for calling "bullshit" on your incompetence.

Well, Captain Bullshit, I have a few questions for YOU.

1. How much money have you earned from the American taxpayers during your pathetic 50-year political career?

2. At what age did you retire from your pathetic political career, and how much are you receiving in annual retirement benefits from the American taxpayers?

3. How much do you pay for YOUR government provided health insurance?

4. What cuts in YOUR retirement and healthcare benefits are you proposing in your disgusting deficit reduction proposal, or, as usual, have you exempted yourself and your political cronies?

It is you, Captain Bullshit, and your political co-conspirators called Congress who are the "greedy" ones. It is you and your fellow nutcases who have bankrupted America and stolen the American dream from millions of loyal, patriotic taxpayers. And for what?

Votes.

That's right, sir. You and yours have bankrupted America for the sole purpose of advancing your pathetic political careers. You know it, we know it, and you know that we know it.

And you can take that to the bank, you miserable son of a bitch.
Pretty much defines "politician"....remember, never fall in love with one, he will absolutely break your heart.

Lee Rodgers Strikes Again

Lee Rodgers is a former San Francisco Radio Talk Show Host. He was one of the best ever. Nobody knows for sure, but we think he got canned last time his contract expired because he wanted too much money. It was a nasty shock for his listeners.

He blogs, and his stuff is always great. The problem is, his running commentary is not broken down into separate posts, so that I can't direct you specifically to the particular bits I want to share...so I have to copy and paste:

There is a growing consensus that the U.S. economy will never recover as long as we have a destructive, egomaniacal, economically-illiterate quasi-Marxist in the White House. Even some Democrats in both the House and Senate have figured that out, which is why they won't support his demagogic "jobs" plan.
If Obama's goal is to wreck the largest economy the world has ever seen to satisfy his own ideological urges, nurtured since childhood by communists, he's making strong headway.

Between sending guns to Mexican criminals, lying by the Justice Department, obvious payoffs in the Solyndra case ... how long before even the dumbest Democrat figures out that this is one of the stupidest, most corrupt administrations in history? It's populated by a mob of lying, racist, freeloading criminals.

The man does not mince words. That's why we love him. Straightest of straight shooters. And we miss him.

From the Mailbag...

Heidi is the proprietor of a bar in Detroit .

She realizes that virtually all of her customers are unemployed alcoholics and, as such, can no longer afford to patronize her bar.

To solve this problem, she comes up with a new marketing plan that allows her customers to drink now, but pay later.

Heidi keeps track of the drinks consumed on a ledger (thereby granting the customers' loans).

Word gets around about Heidi's "drink now, pay later" marketing strategy and, as a result, increasing numbers of customers flood into Heidi's bar. Soon she has the largest sales volume for any bar in Detroit .

By providing her customers freedom from immediate payment demands, Heidi gets no resistance when, at regular intervals, she substantially increases her prices for wine and beer, the most consumed beverages.

Consequently, Heidi's gross sales volume increases massively.

A young and dynamic vice-president at Heidi's local bank recognizes that these customer debts constitute valuable future assets and increases Heidi's borrowing limit.

He sees no reason for any undue concern, since he has the debts of the unemployed alcoholics as collateral!!!

At the bank's corporate headquarters, expert traders figure a way to make huge commissions, and transform these customer loans into DRINK BONDS.

These "securities" then are bundled and traded on international securities markets.

Naive investors don't really understand that the securities being sold to them as "AAA Secured Bonds" really are debts of unemployed alcoholics. Nevertheless, the bond prices continuously climb!!!, and the securities soon become the hottest-selling items for some of the nation's leading brokerage houses.

One day, even though the bond prices still are climbing, a risk manager at the original local bank decides that the time has come to demand payment on the debts incurred by Heidi's bar. He so informs Heidi.

Heidi then demands payment from her alcoholic patrons, but being unemployed alcoholics they cannot pay back their drinking debts.

Since Heidi cannot fulfill her loan obligations to the bank she is forced into bankruptcy. The bar closes and Heidi's 11 employees lose their jobs.

Overnight, DRINK BOND prices drop by 90%.

The collapsed bond asset value destroys the bank's liquidity and prevents it from issuing new loans, thus freezing credit and economic activity in the community.

The suppliers of Heidi's bar had granted her generous payment extensions and had invested their firms' pension funds in the BOND securities.

They find they are now faced with having to write off her bad debt and with losing over 90% of the presumed value of the bonds.

Her wine supplier also claims bankruptcy, closing the doors on a family business that had endured for three generations, her beer supplier is taken over by a competitor, who immediately closes the local plant and lays off 150 workers. In addition, the laid-off workers' pension funds and IRA'S all suffer substantial loss in value.

Fortunately though, the bank, the brokerage houses and their respective executives are saved and bailed out by a multibillion dollar no-strings attached cash infusion from the government.

The funds required for this bailout are obtained by new taxes levied on employed, middle-class, nondrinkers who have never been in or heard of Heidi's bar.

Now do you understand?

I'm not a big fan of Pat Buchanan. But sometimes his logic is unassailable.

As in his article:  Øbama in a Dream World.

Can we really be this stupid? Or, rather, can our "leaders" really be that stupid?

Oh, right....they're Liberals. Of course they can.

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!

Unsustainable Spending
By David Warren

A spectre is haunting Europe, and America -- the spectre of Keynesianism finally gone nuts.

What began, not very innocently, as a suggestion that governments should run deficits in bad times, and surpluses in good times, gradually "evolved." In the next phase, governments tried to balance at least the operating account during the best of times. In phase three, governments ran deficits by habit during the good times, but much bigger "stimulus" deficits during the bad times. We are now entering phase four.

Canadians tend to feel smug about this, for we look south at a fiscal catastrophe that had nothing to do with us. For the last generation, we have been trying to claw our way back to budgetary conditions before Pierre Trudeau broke the bank. This had once seemed a small price to pay for his "just society" (or "just watch me"). Surely it was worth mortgaging our children's future, and that of their children, and children's children, for the transient privilege of being governed by such a man. (I can still hear the erotic screams of the women, from the 1968 general election, as Trudeau passed by.)

By about 1984, we had had enough. Michael Wilson balanced the operating account, then Paul Martin balanced the overall budget, and today Jim Flaherty tries to keep the federal debt "shrinking" in proportion to national income. (Of course, the debt itself grows and grows.)

We feel smug because we are watching President Barack Obama do for the United States what Prime Minister Trudeau did for us -- although in their case, on top of what Obama's predecessors did. The U.S. national debt now exceeds $12.3 trillion in a $14.2 trillion economy, and the U.S. government is now piling it on with unprecedented new deficits. The U.S. Treasury's borrowing requirement is, as it were, coming up against the Great Wall of China.

Little things, such as the heart of the U.S. space program, are being gutted to make way for metastasizing social security entitlements and debt service payments that will soon swamp the entire federal budget -- thus requiring the elimination of more little things such as the army, navy and air force. At some point the entitlements simply can't be paid, without hyperinflation.

I am not exaggerating. The American debt is now at levels that ring bells at the International Monetary Fund. And as the world's biggest debtor rapidly accelerates its borrowing, the fiscal carrying capacity of the rest of the planet comes into question.

There are two large reasons why we cannot afford to be smug, up here. The first is that after adding the "entitlement" heritage of our provincial governments to the federal debt load, our position is not much better. The second is that even if it were much better, the tsunami coming from south of the border will anyway sweep all our dikes away.

The Obama administration's financial projections are extremely optimistic, yet even if they all come true, the U.S. debt will continue to grow unsustainably. The kind of alarm falsely placed in "global warming" would more usefully be directed towards the remarkable cooling effect this will have, as all our fiscal and demographic trends converge. For this is a predictable future; an issue where the numbers correspond to real things, not to mere speculation.

We can already see where the U.S. is headed, because Iceland and Greece are showing the way. Both have now passed a point of no return, and both are being followed down that plughole by Britain and several other European countries that will probably precede the U.S. into outright bankruptcy. The State of California also gives some clues.

While an optimist would say that we are witnessing the final demise of the welfare state, and good riddance, a pessimist would observe that everything must go down with it. Moreover, as we have seen from the history of Germany and other countries, fiscal catastrophe accentuates every latent threat to public order.

For our governments have created vast bureaucracies, employing immense numbers whose livelihoods depend entirely (whether they realize it or not) upon the capacity of profit-earning people to pay constantly increasing taxes.

It should have been grasped, decades ago, that the constant transfer of resources from the productive to the unproductive must eventually tip the ship. And when it does, real people go over the side, who get angry when they are thrown in the water. There are consequences to that anger.

The idea that we can spend our way out of a debt crisis -- or what I called above, "Keynesianism gone nuts" -- has already been rejected by the Tea Party movement in the U.S., and has always been rejected by voters of conservative tendency. They know what's wrong with the present order, and have an important teaching function to the rest of the electorate, which doesn't get it yet.

But more urgently, we are in need of a positive conception of how to rebuild economy and society, when Nanny State collapses under her own weight. For yelling "run!" is only a short-term solution.

I wish I had written this...

 ...but I didn't.

Grzmlyk did. (Hell NO I don't know how to say it. I'm just the messenger, people.)

I think Obama does know what he's doing - employing the old Cloward-Piven strategy of overwhelming the system in order to paralyze it - then lay the failure at capitalism's door, even as the socialist knight in shining armor comes riding to the rescue. So in that way, he knows exactly what he's doing.

But that's because he has a puerile view of economics (among other things) that is informed by his own indoctrination and his status as a perpetual outsider during his formative years. I honestly think he believes what my ex-girlfriend believes (hey, she was gorgeous and sometimes very sweet, what can I say?):

That there is a giant cave somewhere that is filled with all the money that this planet will ever have. This lucre is jealously guarded, naturally, by evil, right-wing capitalists and their cronies, and it is the mission of Obama and his fellow travelers to pry the guards away from the mouth of the cave and dole out the stacks of money inside to those they deem "deserving."

Obama's supreme confidence does not derive from surpassing wisdom; quite the contrary, it derives from utter ignorance.

He's like the child that slips into his daddy's shoes and imagines himself a man of consequence as he traipses around the house, idealizing his father's perceived omniscience and omnipotence even has he mythologizes his own place in the world.

But of course his father is just a man, the shoes don't fit, the moment passes and the child's fantasy is eventually supplanted by something we in the conservative movement like to call "reality."
This will NEVER happen with Obama. If the man lives to be 100, he will go to his grave believing he was the one we had been waiting for - but that we Philistines were simply too retrograde to recognize his godhead.

Like Peter Pan and Michael Jackson, Obama simply refuses to grow up.

Who ME??

Headline:  "Obama ‘Agnostic’ on Deficit Cuts, Won’t Prejudge Tax Increases"

...by which he means that he's prepared to increase taxes on those people he SWORE not to raise taxes on repeatedly, repeatedly, repeatedly... throughout his campaign.

Get this:
Obama said the U.S. was faced with a “structural deficit” that was in place before the recession began and that was only made worse by the deepest drop in the economy since the 1930s.

“Our real problem is not the spike in spending last year, or the lost, even the lost revenues last year, as significant as those are,” he said. “The real problem has to do with the fact that there is a just a mismatch between the amount of money coming in and the amount of money going out. And that is going to require some big, tough choices that, so far, the political system has been unable to deal with.”

Yes...by some weird inexplicable accident of FATE, there is more money "going out" than "coming in".

Notice the passive voice. No PERSON or INSTITUTION is "spending more money" than they're "taking in"—NO. Money is just passively "going out". Apparently all on its own!

Here's another beauty:
Many economists, including conservatives such as former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan, argue that tax increases will be necessary as part of a broad package to control the deficit, which the White House projects will hit a record $1.6 trillion in the fiscal year ending on Sept. 30.

The deficit "will hit" (the White House projects...mind you). Again...just moving and evolving all on its own. They don't say: "White House and Democrats have spent so much money that we don't have and have had to borrow in the last year that they have created a record deficit of $1.6 trillion."

AND NOW THEY WANT TO USE THAT AS AN EXCUSE TO INCREASE YOUR TAXES...JUST AS THOUGH IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM!

Not their fault.

"The deficit will hit"; "there is a mismatch between money coming in and....going out."

We're not supposed to think about the outrageous, massive, partisan, excessive, monstrous spending of trillions of dollars on pork, party & union pay-offs, growing entitlements, bailouts,  bogus "stimuli", special and sweetheart deals, illegal punitive taxation, uncertainty and insecurity in the markets because of this administration's unpredictability, destruction of the currency, inflation, money printing, massive debt...

NO. NO. Ignore the little Democrat behind the curtain! He has NOTHING to do with it. The money that is "going out" needs to be balanced with the money "coming in"...and the deficit is " is growing" higher and higher.

Nothing to do with US....

Gummint "protects" Consumers...Again

Star Parker busts the "defenders" as the "oppressors".

Before they're done, nothing at all will be left - especially for "the poor" whom they so love to exploit to increase their own political power.

The most important product in our country is freedom and, unfortunately, it’s this product that President Obama and House financial services chairman Rep. Barney Frank, D-MA, find most defective. They really think that politicians and bureaucrats can take better care of people than we can take care of ourselves.

"....Even in Downturn"

Could this New York Times article be more determinedly clueless? Almost every sentence contains a stupidity, a misunderstanding or ham-handed misdirection that would make a child blush.

First they report that Socialism in Europe is experiencing a slow death, then immediately exclaim their surprise that that should be so considering the current economic crisis is a "failure of capitalism". And they bemoan the fact that the Left has been unable to capitalize (interesting choice of words) on this failure of capitalism.

They go on in the same vein, arriving at the wrong conclusions, asking the wrong questions and ascribing the wrong causes...every single time.

My GOD, no wonder nobody reads the rag anymore!

I suppose the title should have given me a clue of the boneheadedness to follow: Europe's Socialists Suffering Even in Downturn.

It's sort of like saying: "Everything is getting wet, EVEN in this rainstorm."

Chu's Anti-Science

Just in case you didn't really believe that Øbama and his posse are "Progressives" who think that we common, low people must be ruled by "experts" who know best, instead of adults capable of governing ourselves according to the Founder's ideas of "government by the people"...Steven Chu, Energy Secretary has the lowdown:
“The American public…just like your teenage kids, aren’t acting in a way that they should act,” Dr. Chu said. “The American public has to really understand in their core how important this issue is.”
It's not that we take exception to their version of the "facts", their unicorn reasoning and their phony "science" of "Global Warming"...we're just stupid children who have to be led by our betters into acting in the way they want us to behave.
“We’re showing people across the country how energy efficiency can be part of what they do every day,” said EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson. “Confronting climate change, saving money on our utility bills, and reducing our use of heavily-polluting energy can be as easy as making a few small changes.”
It's possible this useful dolt actually believes this stuff, of course...

Still, Secretary Chu said he didn’t think that the public would throw the same political temper tantrum over climate legislation has has happened with the healthcare debate.

Asked if he expected a town-hall style pushback, Dr. Chu said he was optimistic the public would buy the administration’s arguments that energy efficiency and caps on greenhouse-gas emissions will spark an economic rebound.

Yeah....good luck with that.

We're making the signs already.

Honor and Consequence

Yahoo News reports that North Korea threatens the U.S. with missile...

Here's the thing.

If we keep going the way we're going. If Congress passes the Cap & Tax bill, and institutes Nationalized Healthcare...er....Socialized Medicine...

...do I really care if the geek-haired-Mini-Me lobs a nuke at us?

In the old days when gentlemen behaved in such a way that their honor was besmirched, and their only alternatives were living with the shame of dishonor or death, they chose personal annihilation.

We are responsible as citizens for the dishonorable actions of an out-of-control, corrupt government through our participation, our neglect, our ignorance, or our laziness.

If this criminal enterprise we call Congress deals the final blow to our economy, our liberty, our prosperity, our future, our future, and our honor through the passage of these two bills that will literally enslave us...perhaps we are better off dead.

Better to go out with a bang that with a slow degrading slide into Third World status.

A Warning From Flyover Country

Yesterday, Glenn Beck read this letter from a woman in Arizona. She writes an open letter to our nation's leadership:

"I'm a home grown American citizen, 53, registered Democrat all my life. Before the last presidential election I registered as a Republican because I no longer felt the Democratic Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me.

Now I no longer feel the Republican Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. The fact is I no longer feel any political party or representative in Washington represents my views or works to pursue the issues important to me. There must be someone. Please tell me who you are. Please stand up and tell me that you are there and that you're willing to fight for our Constitution as it was written. Please stand up now. You might ask yourself what my views and issues are that I would horribly feel so disenfranchised by both major political parties. What kind of nut job am I? Will you please tell me?

Well, these are briefly my views and issues for which I seek representation:

One, illegal immigration. I want you to stop coddling illegal immigrants and secure our borders. Close the underground tunnels. Stop the violence and the trafficking in drugs and people. No amnesty, not again. Been there, done that, no resolution. P.S., I'm not a racist. This isn't to be confused with legal immigration.

Two, the TARP bill, I want it repealed and I want no further funding supplied to it. We told you no, but you did it anyway. I want the remaining unfunded 95% repealed. Freeze, repeal.

Three: Czars, I want the circumvention of our checks and balances stopped immediately. Fire the czars. No more czars. Government officials answer to the process, not to the president. Stop trampling on our Constitution and honor it.

Four, cap and trade. The debate on global warming is not over. There is more to say.

Five, universal healthcare. I will not be rushed into another expensive decision. Don't you dare try to pass this in the middle of the night and then go on break. Slow down!

Six, growing government control. I want states rights and sovereignty fully restored. I want less government in my life, not more. Shrink it down. Mind your own business. You have enough to take care of with your real obligations. Why don't you start there.

Seven, ACORN. I do not want ACORN and its affiliates in charge of our 2010 census. I want them investigated. I also do not want mandatory escrow fees contributed to them every time on every real estate deal that closes. Stop the funding to ACORN and its affiliates pending impartial audits and investigations. I do not trust them with taking the census over with our taxpayer money. I don't trust them with our taxpayer money. Face up to the allegations against them and get it resolved before taxpayers get any more involved with them. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, hello. Stop protecting your political buddies. You work for us, the people. Investigate.

Eight, redistribution of wealth. No, no, no. I work for my money. It is mine. I have always worked for people with more money than I have because they gave me jobs. That is the only redistribution of wealth that I will support. I never got a job from a poor person. Why do you want me to hate my employers? Why ‑‑ what do you have against shareholders making a profit?

Nine, charitable contributions. Although I never got a job from a poor person, I have helped many in need. Charity belongs in our local communities, where we know our needs best and can use our local talent and our local resources. Butt out, please. We want to do it ourselves.

Ten, corporate bailouts. Knock it off. Sink or swim like the rest of us. If there are hard times ahead, we'll be better off just getting into it and letting the strong survive. Quick and painful. Have you ever ripped off a Band‑Aid? We will pull together. Great things happen in America under great hardship. Give us the chance to innovate. We cannot disappoint you more than you have disappointed us.

Eleven, transparency and accountability. How about it? No, really, how about it? Let's have it. Let's say we give the buzzwords a rest and have some straight honest talk. Please try ‑‑ please stop manipulating and trying to appease me with clever wording. I am not the idiot you obviously take me for. Stop sneaking around and meeting in back rooms making deals with your friends. It will only be a prelude to your criminal investigation. Stop hiding things from me.

Twelve, unprecedented quick spending. Stop it now.

Take a breath. Listen to the people. Let's just slow down and get some input from some non-politicians on the subject. Stop making everything an emergency. Stop speed reading our bills into law.

I am not an activist. I am not a community organizer. Nor am I a terrorist, a militant or a violent person. I am a parent and a grandparent. I work. I'm busy. I'm busy. I am busy, and I am tired. I thought we elected competent people to take care of the business of government so that we could work, raise our families, pay our bills, have a little recreation, complain about taxes, endure our hardships, pursue our personal goals, cut our lawn, wash our cars on the weekends and be responsible contributing members of society and teach our children to be the same all while living in the home of the free and land of the brave.

I entrusted you with upholding the Constitution. I believed in the checks and balances to keep from getting far off course.

What happened?

You are very far off course. Do you really think I find humor in the hiring of a speed reader to unintelligently ramble all through a bill that you signed into law without knowing what it contained? I do not. It is a mockery of the responsibility I have entrusted to you. It is a slap in the face. I am not laughing at your arrogance.

Why is it that I feel as if you would not trust me to make a single decision about my own life and how I would live it but you should expect that I should trust you with the debt that you have laid on all of us and our children. We did not want the TARP bill. We said no. We would repeal it if we could. I am sure that we still cannot. There is such urgency and recklessness in all of the recent spending.

From my perspective, it seems that all of you have gone insane. I also know that I am far from alone in these feelings. Do you honestly feel that your current pursuits have merit to patriotic Americans? We want it to stop. We want to put the brakes on everything that is being rushed by us and forced upon us.

We want our voice back.

You have forced us to put our lives on hold to straighten out the mess that you are making. We will have to give up our vacations, our time spent with our children, any relaxation time we may have had and money we cannot afford to spend on you to bring our concerns to Washington.

Our president often knows all the right buzzwords. His favorite is 'unsustainable'. Well, no kidding! How many tens of thousands of dollars did the focus group cost to come up with that word? We don't want your overpriced words.

Stop treating us like we're morons.

We want all of you to stop focusing on your reelection and do the job we want done, not the job you want done or the job your party wants done. You work for us and at this rate I guarantee you—not for long—because we are coming.

We will be heard and we will be represented. You think we're so busy with our lives that we will never come for you? We are the formerly silent majority, all of us who quietly work, pay taxes, obey the law, vote, save money, keep our noses to the grindstone and we are now looking up at you.

You have awakened us, the patriotic spirit so strong and so powerful that it had been sleeping too long. You have pushed us too far. Our numbers are great. They may surprise you. For every one of us who will be there, there will be hundreds more that could not come. Unlike you, we have their trust.

We will represent them honestly, rest assured. They will be at the polls on voting day to usher you out of office. We have cancelled vacations. We will use our last few dollars saved. We will find the representation among us and a grassroots campaign will flourish.

We didn't ask for this fight. But the gloves are coming off. We do not come in violence, but we are angry. You will represent us or you will be replaced with someone who will. There are candidates among us when hewill rise like a Phoenix from the ashes that you have made of our constitution.

Democrat, Republican, independent, libertarian. Understand this. We don't care. Political parties are meaningless to us. Patriotic Americans are willing to do right by us and our Constitution and that is all that matters to us now.

We are going to fire all of you who abuse power and seek more. It is not your power. It is ours and we want it back.

We entrusted you with it and you abused it. You are dishonorable. You are dishonest. As Americans we are ashamed of you. You have brought shame to us. If you are not representing the wants and needs of your constituency loudly and consistently, in spite of the objections of your party, you will be fired.

Did you hear? We no longer care about your political parties. You need to be loyal to us, not to them. Because we will get you fired and they will not save you.

If you do or can represent me, my issues, my views, please stand up. Make your identity known. You need to make some noise about it. Speak up. I need to know who you are.

If you do not speak up, you will be herded out with the rest of the sheep and we will replace the whole damn congress if need be one by one.

We are coming. Are we coming for you? Who do you represent? What do you represent? Listen. Because we are coming.

We the people are coming."

Yes. YES!

Who GUESSED?

Biden speaks. Which means more stupidity and nonsense is thereby loosed into the world.

The man, addressing the obvious and predicted failure of the "stimulus", spews typical Blue Bubble Bullshit: "Everyone guessed wrong"

'Scuse me?

EVERYONE???

I didn't. Nor did the free-marketers, conservatives, libertarians, all citizens with an IQ over 70, taxpayers, businessmen, tea-party organizers and attendants, and every non-Marxist economist, who all, loudly and strenuously objected to ZerØ's absurd, idiotic, monumental spending debacle guaranteed to plunge us into obscene debt, payoff cronies and supporters with billions of dollars, cripple the free market, advance socialism, grow government and extend the recession.

Progressives listen to each other mouth farting in a circular closed circuit...and come up with: "EVERYONE guessed wrong".

I'm insulted that they would try to pretend that everyone guessed.

I'm equally insulted that they would try to pretend anyone guessed.

The ZerØ posse did what they did, knowing full well the results. ZerØ's policy was never to save the economy; it is to cripple it so that he can "remake" it as he see's fit. And what he wants is government running everyone and everything from cradle to coffin.

More Bullshit from the Lie-Monger-In-Chief

Another False & Fascist move by Hussein Al-Obama.

He publicly denies he wants to control compensation for executives.

Which means, of course, that that's exactly what he means to do.

He is entirely predictable. Listen carefully to what he says and know that what he claims he wants he despises, and what he denies is precisely his plan.

Every. Single. Time.

Red Chinese Laugh at Obamanomics

"Chinese assets are very safe," Geithner said in response to a question after a speech at Peking University, where he studied Chinese as a student in the 1980s.

His answer drew loud laughter from his student audience, reflecting skepticism in China about the wisdom of a developing country accumulating a vast stockpile of foreign reserves instead of spending the money to raise living standards at home."

That wasn't "skepticism", darling Reuters. That was derision. They know he's lying. And they're not ObamaZombies, willing to believe any absurd fantasy just because it issues from the Dear Leader and his stooges.

So much for ZerØ's vast influence upon the World, and the instilling of confidence by virtue of his own greatness.

TurboTax Geitner has just come face to face with grownups, living in the real world of economics outside his little Progressive Blue Bubble—in the form of Chinese Students.

And he can't even pin their response on Rush Limbaugh.

Must be quite a shock.

With Progressives, it Never, Ever Ends

I'd say you're not going to believe this. But you will:

Now Congress is moving to limit the penalties on riskier borrowers, who have become a prime source of billions of dollars in fee revenue for the industry. And to make up for lost income, the card companies are going after those people with sterling credit.

Banks are expected to look at reviving annual fees, curtailing cash-back and other rewards programs and charging interest immediately on a purchase instead of allowing a grace period of weeks, according to bank officials and trade groups.

“It will be a different business,” said Edward L. Yingling, the chief executive of the American Bankers Association, which has been lobbying Congress for more lenient legislation on behalf of the nation’s biggest banks. “Those that manage their credit well will in some degree subsidize those that have credit problems.”

It may just be one of those "scare" stories that gets everyone upset...so when the social justice criminals commit an apparently less egregious felony, we find ourselves relieved...and forget to get outraged.

Of course, it may be exactly true. Watch your statements.

Bartertown.

Seriously.
