Just a Word about Hillary

It's possible, though almost unimaginable in world where character and accomplishment should matter, that Hillary Clinton, the epitome of bad character and lack of accomplishment, will be the Democratic Party's candidate for President of the United States of America.

It's actually hard to conceive of when you examine it in the light of day....

What POSSIBLE qualifications does ANYONE think she has for the biggest, most demanding, complex, multifaceted, important, difficult, world-changing, monumental job in the world?

She's an empty pants suit. She is a small person, in every way: Small-minded, small-spirited, small-visioned, small-hearted.

She is not smart. She is not engaged. She is not intellectual. She is not charitable. She is not kind. She had no virtues to recommend her. Not Faith, not Hope, not Charity.

Hillary does not care about women, abortion, fairness, equality, liberty, immigration, Iraq, foreign policy, black people, white people, illegal aliens, Christians getting slaughtered in Africa & the middle east, or muslim terrorists—or America. She doesn't care about global warming, global cooling, global thermonuclear war.

Hillary Clinton cares about one thing, and one thing only: HILLARY CLINTON.

She doesn't want to DO anything as president...

...she has no policies, or programs or goals or interests or passions. That's why she can't speak extemporaneously. She has nothing to say. She parrots what the focus groups, or her management, or the polls tells her to say.

She just wants to BE president..
.
...because it's important and cool and powerful and sexy and the pinnacle of American achievement. And for no other reason. She wants to be hailed and saluted and honored. She wants Money, Status, Power. She just can't wait to give herself a big hug to celebrate her election, and start inventorying the stuff she wants to steal from the White House this time.

She believes in nothing, she cares about no-one, she is the female Øbama, a narcissist and sociopath.

Isn't one enough for this century?

(It almost makes you feel sorry for Bill, doesn't it?)

(I said "almost".)

Øbamamas

This is great, thanks to Lisa G in NZ, who brought it to my attention.

The "12 Days of Øbamamas"....so far there are just eight...but it's worth checking out. It's pretty funny.

A "Unicorn in an ACORN tree". Seriously, people, that's priceless.

Pretty much sums up the demented politics of the Democrat-Leftist-Marxist-Progressive-Satan-Spawn, and their Leader, the Wøn.

Hoist By the Chicago Petard

Hillary Clinton's role as Secretary of State is examined by Dick Morris. Now, he's an antagonist of all things Clinton these days, so one has to "consider the source" whenever he talks about them.

Hillary's Incredible Shrinking Role by Dick Morris

On the other hand, he lists the people that Zero has chosen for any number of "international" assignments, and one has to wonder, indeed....what exactly poor Hillary is going to do.

Clinton gave up the Senate for this appointment. I wonder if she's regretting it already.

It does suggest that the Clintons have met their Machiavellian match in the Chicago Machine. The one certain way to eliminate criticism from a former opponent is to give her a spot on the team—and get her out of the Senate where she actually has power—and then marginalize her position on the squad.

I hate the man, but you gotta give it to him. That was pretty clever.

Cheap, lying, lowdown and dirty....but clever.

Clinton's Pathetic Ego

I didn't address this in a timely fashion, because I thought the conclusion was pretty obvious. But perhaps it should be spelled out, lest anyone think what happened was just an overblown partisan campaign non-issue.

Senator Hillary Clinton, being more concerned with her own image and importance, refused to attend an anti-Iran rally—to be staged in front of the U.N. while Iran's bloody dictator was addressing that august body—when she found out that Governor Sarah Palin was also invited.

There is only one conclusion. Defeating Republicans is more important that defeating Iran's demented and dangerous regime.

Hillary Clinton, Liberals and the Left, hate Republicans more than they hate Ahmadinejad and his band of murderers and thugs who's two most famous activities are supplying arms to those who are killing our troops in Iraq, and threatening to wipe Israel and all Jews off the map.

This is the level of maturity the Left has achieved.

I'd love to hear an argument against this conclusion by anyone who imagines even for a moment that it is not true. Almost everything the Democrats...who are now abject servants of the Left...do is what will most damage Republicans...EVEN WHEN THEIR ACTIONS WILL ALSO HARM THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND HER CITIZENS.

They do this because beating Republicans is more important to them than defeating evil, winning a war, supporting troops fighting for the United States, the economy, citizens' futures, citizens' health, defending the Constitution per their own oaths.

Hillary's actions utterly disqualify her for the exalted office she holds, let alone any higher office. Her priorities center on her own ambitions, her own image, her own Party and her own partisan politics—and her almost compulsive need to harm her political opponents.

And let me be clear. In this she is not alone. She is not an aberration. This is how the Left thinkS. This is a perfect reflection of their world view and their playbook. And anyone who votes for them are participants in this behavior and this choice of values and priorities.

To make a partisan political issue of an anti-Ahmadinejad rally, to effect the dis-invitation of someone else who has accepted the invitation, prepared a speech, and whose speech (in case you haven't read it) graciously acknowledged Mrs. Clinton's non-partisan understanding of the danger posed by the evil Iranian regime. (I love Sarah Palin. But boy was she wrong on that one.)

The organizers of this tepid event, including pallid Liberal Jews...are pathetic in their obsequiousness to Clinton and her puerile tantrum.

I certainly hope the survival of Israel never depends on them.

Dems in St. Paul

An example of what Big Media (those drunken sluts) did when they trashed Sarah...

"PUMAs are Not Pussycats"

Two Democrat women, en route home after a disheartening and disappointing Democrat Convention, hear that Sarah Palen was nominated as VP...turn their RV around in Indiana and race to St. Paul to attend the GOP convention in order to support the woman candidate.

Their argument is cogent. And they are cute.

Their urgency in explaining they are not "gun-toting, bible-thumping, uneducated women" reveals the standard Democrat bias...but we can forgive that...after all, they've done something damned radical. It'll take time before they're minds a fully opened to the TRUTH.

They've taken the first step toward the light. God bless 'em.

Here are a couple more PUMA vids: PUMAs Have Awakened, Cost Obama the Election, (The Just Say No Deal website the reporter is talking about is here.) You can click on other PUMA vids once at YouTube if you're interested.

It's odd to hear so many women who loved Hillary resolving to vote for McCain/Palin. They are furious about Obama's treatment of Hillary, and what they claim is fraud and corruption in the DNC process. Democrats blew it this time. They've had women on the plantation so long, they've absolutely taken them for granted. But they've never had a serious female contender before, and their treatment of her woke up a lot of women and broke their chains.

I don't know how far this will go, but there seem to be a LOT of them. And McCain made it easy for them to switch over 1) he's known as not being an Conservative idealogue, and 2) he had the brilliance to choose Sarah as his running mate.

One can't tell how influential these women (and men) will turn out to be in the last analysis, but something is definitely brewing, and it's pretty damned exciting.

Apparently the DNC is insisting the PUMAs don't exist, dismissing them the way it dismissed Hillary. And that is just having the effect of stoking the rage. Obie's Dem Party seems to be pretty tone deaf when it comes to women. First they diss Hillary, and then even more viciously, Sarah. They are organizing and inflaming their own opponents.

Definitely not ready for prime time.

Perils of the Secret Ballot

Wow, this really blew my mind:

"One of Barack's pet sociologists has written that when people have a secret vote, they might not vote for a black man. This may be why the DNC has moved away from primaries and toward caucuses. As Hillary discoverd to her loss, this makes it easier to diddle the results. I wonder if Barack gets in with a Democrat Congress, how long the secret vote will last."

It's a comment on an article I was reading.

It really stopped me in my tracks. Please remember back...at how well Obie did in the Democratic caucuses, but how so many actual elections were won by Hillary.

Partly explained as the result of getting out the truly motivated to caucuses (for which, I understand, in some cases you had to pay to participate), it never occurred to me that pressure to appear "non-racist" might skew the results.

Of course, I don't believe that because one is against Obie one is a racist....but I can certainly understand the intense Politically-Correct-Race-Politics pressure likely brought to bear upon Liberal Democrats to publicly declare for Obie, the first Black Candidate.

And when you see the overwhelming wins Hillary had in secret ballot votes, it does raise the question.

I don't know if the quote above is true, or can be properly attributed to an Obie operative. But it certainly opens an interesting line of inquiry...which ends with the fact of the General Election's Secret Ballot...

...and the question...

...if the Democrat vote was skewed by race-baiting in caucuses, and Obie got more votes than he would have otherwise as a result, his entire campaign is based on a false premise, and many of those who might have voted for him in public, may change their minds in the privacy of the voting booth.

And if this line of thinking has any validity (I'm not sure it does), then it is likely that the same thing is true with polls. What people feel publicly pressured to say "out loud" may not be, after all, what they actually believe.

It will be very interesting to see if the polls and the caucus numbers accord with the final results of the election.

Degrees of Disease

I thought this was lovely:

"As much as I don't like Hillary, I would prefer her over Obama. I trust her enough not to surrender the country. I wouldn't vote for her, but I'd only have a stomach ache with her as President as opposed to the ulcer with Obama. McCain is a sore throat." --Posted by hadsil, August 7

I've Been Struck Blind

OK, this is not good. In fact, it's frightening. No, please, no. Hillary, dear God, Lose the powder blue pantsuit. You look like refugee from a Seniors Group Tour of Graceland.

NOT. A. GOOD. LOOK.

And in the name of all that is holy, don't let anyone take your picture from that angle. EVER. AGAIN.

Does Anyone Here Care...

...that Mark Penn has quit the Clinton campaign under a conflict-of-interest cloud?

I didn't think so.

Ho hum.

However, for your convenience, unlikely as it might be that you give a crap, here's the story.

Clarity, Please

I really like Peggy Noonan, she is so often so perceptive. But sometimes she really falls off the logic train. In this column she does both at once.

She identifies, as I have, the difficulty of a Republican campaign against a Black Democrat. No matter what you say, you'll be called a "racist" by somebody. Whites are gun-shy. Barack may very well win by default. (Please note: the same would NOT be true against a Black Republican.)

The hysterical joy Republicans are taking in the "slow deflation" of Hillary's campaign is the sad, short-sighted, thrill of instant gratification, unaware of the looming monsters hiding in the shadows of the future. The joy of seeing Hillary lose will be cut short by the true terror of an Obama campaign.

I think Republicans, being generally clueless, genteel boobs, incapable of learning a political or cynical lesson no matter how forcefully they are beaten with it about the head and shoulders, and are inherently unable to play the political war game as effectively as Democrats... actually believe Hillary is particularly "evil" and "mean". But she is not. She's a typical soulless, Liberal politician. Why this myth has grown up that she is particularly or uniquely cruel, heartless, low, dirty, ugly..I've never understood. There has not been a Liberal running for office in the last 4 decades that hasn't used low, ugly, mean, lying tactics to win. You could look it up.

I have heard about the "Clinton Machine" since Bill was President. We were constantly told that it would eat Obama alive—or any other potential rival; that Hillary's goons will bury him—or any other opponent.

Did the Machine get stalled somewhere? Did it's battery die? Is it in the shop? Is gas too expensive to run it?

Disappeared into thin air.

Was it just a manufacture of the imagination of the hate-Hillary Talk Show hosts making conversation; making controversy; making money?

I'm not suggesting Hillary doesn't have a "do bad" department, just that it's no worse than any other Liberal Democrat's campaign, maybe just a little more effective. It's politics. And she's unusually good at it.

And Republicans really hate that, don't they? 'Cause, generally speaking...they're not very good at it.

Understand, this is not to disparage Republicans. They have LIVES. They create, produce, contribute, support, labor, love, pray, build, employ. They're too busy with real life, real love, real families, real faith to need the artificial rush & fury, the furor & fever of politics as a lifestyle or a religion.

Republicans are just not wired with a messianic mission to wield power over others—which really is the whole point of politics, after all. They just want to live their lives in the way they see fit, left pretty much alone by other people, and by government. They don't want to control everything. They aren't rabidly seeking Utopia, or interested in coercing everyone else to adopt their particular version of it.

And that makes them lousy opponents of the fire-breathing, true-believers who are bound and determined to bend the entire human race to their will, by whatever means necessary, and no matter who or what else gets sacrificed in the process.

It's the Christians and the Lions all over again.

OK. Let me get back to the point. Peggy has real issues with Hillary. It's starting to look like a cat-fight. She just can't leave it alone. I mean, she wrote a whole book about it already! I know one needs to confront evil and all that, but damn, this is starting to look like an obsession.

And I'm starting to get my feminist dander up here. Hillary is a hard, fierce, tough campaigner. That is not inherently bad—even in a woman! What's bad is what she is campaigning to accomplish. Let's not confuse the two.

The South Carolina "debacle" was no such thing. Bill spoke the simple truth. That people feel the need to get hysterical about it does not change that fact. That Peggy Noonan finds it convenient to use the absurd accusations as further "proof" of the unscrupulousness of the Clintons, does not make it true...nor does it make Noonan look particularly perceptive. She completely drank the "racist" baiting Kool-Aid. So easy to do when you embrace, nurture and feed an abiding, gratifying hatred for an opponent.

Hillary has loaned her campaign $5 million of her own money. (Ignore for the moment the question of how the hell Hillary can even have $5 million of "her own money".) Noonan uses that fact to demonstrate that Hillary is almost certainly going to lose; that she is desperate, that support and donations are drying up.

On the radio this morning, I heard quite a different explanation. (Remember, she's raised a lot of money recently, just not quite as much as Obama.) It was suggested that the "money of her own" was a tactical move which worked. It made a lot of people who support her become concerned and send in some cash. Hillary's campaign raked in more than $7 million in donations since she announced that personal loan—according to a local Talk Radio

I really don't know which is true. I do find it hard to believe that Hillary's hard core supporters are prepared to abandon her for the upstart contender. But the larger point is that jumping to the conclusion that it "proved" something Noonan very much wants to be true, makes her analysis of anything Clinton highly suspect.

I get that she's not a news reporter, but an opinion writer. But still, like so many other Party Operatives, lately she more often brings cloudiness rather than clarity to important issues.

We are not going to win if we cannot recognize truth...even when it's not useful in trashing our enemies. If we don't, we're no better than they are, and equally deserving of defeat.
