I Stand Corrected

In my post Power of Words, I said that while I was struck by a caller' s suggestion that we use the word "Soviet" instead of the world "Socialist", the talk show host didn't seem to catch it, or appreciate the significance.

Well, I was clearly wrong. Mark Levin's opening monologue this afternoon is peppered with "Soviet" and "Soviet Style" instead of the previously ubiquitous "socialist".

I happy to say this usage, at least on one syndicated national show, is gaining currency.

It's a good thing.
