"Disproportionate" Response

Zero will spend $200m on his inauguration.

While Americans are losing their jobs, their homes, their 401ks, while the economy is in free-fall, and the treasury is flooding the land with worthless greenbacks—all due to the totally irresponsible actions of his criminal and malfeasant party pals.

Shame is only for Conservative White People, I guess.

Nice to know he's "in touch" with everyday Americans...like flashy pimps, pinky-ring drug lords, "bling" rappers, and mob bosses.

Somebody called it a $200m ghetto block party.

Works for me.

I wonder how many stores will be looted, and how many cars will be burned, in "celebration" of this "historic" event.

Anybody running a pool?

  1. HE ain't spending shit.We all are,and "ghetto block party" decribes it pretty well, tho one could add "suicidal sheep buying the knife".Title ("Disproportianate Response") GREAT! It's "irresponsible" if Bush says similar, but okey-dokey if The One is involved.America kills itself. When in doubt, bring the credit card out! No ADULTS left in the ruling class.

  2. As I have said before, the age of the common man.

Thus always go democracies once the safeguards against the common man are removed.

  3. I think I blame the decadent and gluttonous "elite" rather than the "common man" for the destruction.

  4. America has never been the country of the common man. It has been the country of the uncommon man. What other country has ever produced such greats?

The elites would be nothing without a large base willing to tear down the country in an orgy self-indulgence. Surely the base bears some of the blame?

This was the reason for those nasty literacy tests and poll taxes the government did away with. Perhaps they were applied poorly, but you have to admit, unlimited franchise does seem to have disadvantages.

  5. AW...point taken.

I do believe that only those who pay taxes should vote.

Obviously reading and writing English should be a requirement, etc.

And there should be some limit on the franchise of those who receive money from the State. They have a vested interest in growing government. A conflict of interest with "citizenship" in a free country.

There's more, but I just woke up.
