Options for the President & the Minority

Newt Gingrich writes the definitive description of the President's dilemma.

I love President Bush for his integrity and his courage...but I know he's no Conservative. And that makes me worry that for the sake of "getting along", he will choose the "liberal bipartisanship" Mr. Gingrich describes.

It's not like he hasn't embraced that practice before.

I'm hoping the President doesn't make that mistake. But after 6 years of struggle, he may be just so exhausted by the battle, it may seem very attractive to make nice with the collaborators and traitors that have been elected to leadership by the brilliant American voters.
