File Sharing Site....Free & Private!

Zuk*...the mad proofer, turned me on to this site. It looks like a file sharing site that doesn't require anybody to give up private info to upload or download files!

I'm checking into it right now. And if it's as cool as it looks, we'll have a place to share graphics, posters (Infidelmonster and Toaster I'm talkin' to you...) and whatever else.

I'll let you know as soon as I figure it out.

Zuk has found a typo on the post card. DAMNIT!

I'm so sorry, I proofed that thing all ways till Sunday, and still missed it. I didn't have another set of eyes to check it. As I told Zuk, it's always bad to proof your own work.

I should have posted it first and let y'all look it over for mistakes.

(Although...now that I think of it, I DID post a very big image of the text, and not one of you actually noticed...hmmm...)

Anyway, I added an "s" to redistributing so it reads"resdistributing"...typing error, and I never saw it.

I'll correct it immediately, and resend to everyone who requested the art. If you've already ordered them...I'm smugding that damned "s" out with a felt tip pen.

Better it should look weird than we give them any reason to not take us seriously...like because we can't spell.

Next time...I'm drafting your eyes.

Changing the Fable

You've heard the story about the Sheep Dogs and the Wolves, right?

In that story the sheep are the common citizens, the Sheep Dogs are the Good Warriors protecting them, and the Wolves are the criminals and sundry other enemies.

I'm changing the story. And the characters.

In my story, the sheep are the helpless, hapless, frightened, passive sheeple who bleat to be taken care of by someone else.

The Sheep Dogs are agents of the Imperial Government paid to keep them that way.

And the Wolves are the free, fierce, independent ones harassing the thuggish Sheep Dogs while trying to get the Sheeple to realize that they were not born sheep, but free Wolves, who got beguiled and trapped in sheep's clothing by the blandishments and lies of the Imperial Government.

The Sheep Dogs (in my story) are not honorable, brave defenders keeping the Wolves out...but ruthless prison guards keeping the Sheeple in. 

The Wolves are the liberated and the liberators...

Embrace your inner Wolf.

I just read that Wolf Clan in Old Norse is:

"Ûlfhednar"

(I think a close pronunciation would be: 'oolf-hed-nar , with the "oo" sounding like a growling German with emphysema.)

And according to the Mythology book I'm reading, they were guerrilla warriors - who fought singly, ambushing their enemies. You know, sort of like us, in our disparate locations, each on our own, launching our postcard missiles at the enemy.

I thought it was interesting that in my non political reading this should come up just now...as we launch the Wolf Pack Campaign!
