Calderon's Immigration Policy

Michelle Malkin details Mexico's immigration laws - as Calderon attacks Arizona as Nazis for defending our border.

Through the looking glass. That's where we are, people.

Honestly, I worry the Ă˜bama regime is leading us into civil war.

Through either Balkanization through "Multiculturalism" or by their outright treason & premeditated destruction of our country.

I just don't see how we can avoid it.

Our "leaders" are virtually insane. They are so blinded by hatred of this country that they are without the ability to think or act rationally.

This is not even a question of what's right or wrong, it's a question of being able to distinguish fantasy from reality.

This regime and its zombies appear unable to do so.

They hate America as intolerant, but give a pass to Islamofascists. They hate America as exclusive, but give a pass to Mexico's harsh immigration practices. They hate America as racist, but only because most of its people are White! They believe everyone has a right to "the American Dream", but steal from those working hardest for it. They decry joblessness, but condemn and hamper the job-creators. They cry "fairness!" and pass laws that institutionalize discrimination and favoritism.

They are liars, cheats & thieves, yes. But they are also psychotic: unable to recognize cause and effect, distinguish truth from fiction, science from ideology, faith from superstition, good from evil.

And they are in charge. I just know one thing: Whatever's coming, it's not going to be pretty.

Hat Tip to Robert

In case you didn't see it, Robert gave us this gem in one of his comments:

"...too high a price is asked for harmony; it's beyond our means to pay so much to enter on it. And so I hasten to give back my entrance ticket, as soon as possible."

-- Dostoevsky

Seems like a fitting slogan for the coming "unpleasantness".

He also shared this:

Holy Crap! Perfect.

Of Science and Stupidity

Sometimes being an intelligent human being is so tiring.

Look at this story: Hello Smartypants: Baby Chimps are as Bright as Human Infants

The breathless reportage of this utterly misunderstood story is enervating. One can only stand so much raw stupidity. And it's piling up too fast to deal with. I'm going into "Stupidity Overload".

Normally I'd just roll my eyes and move on. This sort of story isn't wrong. It just tries to imply what ain't so. But it grabbed my attention particularly because last night I caught part of a television documentary about chimps & intelligence and one of the "experts" said something monumentally stupid.

This grey-haired, supercilious moron suggested that assuming humans were smarter than chimps was "human-centric" and that our ability to do calculus, or play the piano—which he identified as behaviors humans consider expressing intelligence—would not be useful for survival in the chimps' jungle environment - ergo human "intelligence" was "situational" and thus not "objectively" greater than that of chimps.

Now just hold that idea under your tongue for a moment. And consider. This Ph.D. said this with perfect sincerity, with perfect seriousness. This shallow, stupid man actually thinks that because a man might die in an environment where a chimp might survive, it puts the superiority of man's intelligence in question.

How do you even hold a conversation with somebody like that? How is it this man is doing scientific research that may actually define "science" or our culture?

He actually references calculus and piano playing. And because they won't increase one's skills to survive in the jungle, he implies they do not represent real intelligence.

Where, I wonder, does he think calculus and pianos come from? And why there aren't any in the chimps' jungle? While he clearly believes in evolution, he seems to be unaware that evolution requires that at one time humans, too, were residents of the jungle.

But now have calculus and pianos.

If I winnow it down to its simplest premise, this "intellectual" is saying that if a beast survives a given environment better than a man, it demonstrates that man is not more intelligent than the beast, just "differently" intelligent.

Begins to sound familiar.

And if we take that to its logical conclusion, doesn't that mean than men are no smarter than, say oysters? We can't survive in their environment either.

Well, except for all the equipment we've invented that allows us to pretty much survive in every environment, including underwater, such as scuba gear, and wet-suits, and submarines, and diving bells, and diving suits...

...and jungles, if you include the "intelligence" to make jeeps, guns, tents, machetes, sun-screen, snake-venom antidotes, boots, generators, fire and buildings.

Other than that, I guess we are just the same as chimps and oysters.

I'm lying down with a wet cloth on my forehead. I'm telling you, I just can't take much more of this. I just hope it's not contagious.

E Unum Pluribus*

Some hard realities about race and ethnicity. Globalism vs. Ethno-nationalism

The poor, stupid multiculturalists who, in their dimwitted delusions imagined that emphasizing differences was the best way to create "tolerance" and "unity", have been the engine of racial division in America, and every other culture their clammy little hands touched.

The Reckoning is coming, and they don't have a clue. Even the almost unanimous black vote for Zero, didn't register on their "bullshit meter".

Missing the Point

In a column by Kimberley Strassel in Wall Street Journal Online (I can't link because unless you subscribe, for money, it's only a temporary, timed-out link), she claims that it is the Democrats, not the Republicans that are split down the middle, fractured by dissension, division and disunity.

Ah, another Rainbow Republican. I wonder if she sprinkles pixie dust, too.

Apparently she can't see the Grand Canyon size chasm between Hack Republicans and Conservative Republicans looming as a result of a McCain annointing.

But actually, that's beside my point. There's going to be a lot of that in the next 10 months. Party Aparatchik Republicans pretending all is well, nuzzling McCain, pretending he's acceptable, urging unity.

Here's the real point. A paragraph that is so telling on so many levels. And yet the writer clearly misses the significance. I included the first paragraph just for clarity:

"On the Democratic side, you couldn't fit a piece of paper between Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Obama on most issues. The fight is instead over who has more charisma, who has more experience, who is a woman, who is a minority. It's also a debate about the direction of the party, and whether Democrats (in contrast to Republicans) are about to end an era. Will they continue a 16-year Clinton dynasty, or cast the duo out in favor of the hopeful liberal?

Through this lens, the divisions make more sense. ...Mrs. Clinton gets women because she is a woman; older voters because she is of, or near, their generation; blue-collar workers because they remember the boom Clinton years; Hispanics, ditto. Mr. Obama gets men because he is a man; younger voters because he is youthful and hopeful; wealthier liberals because they are bored with the Clintons; blacks because he is black. This is admittedly a very crude breakdown, but it contains kernels of truth."
What's wrong with this picture? And more to the point, what's wrong with her painting it without comment?

Content of character? NOT.

Ms. Strassel sees people choosing candidates because of skin color, gender, age, level of wealth... the need for excitement. And to her, this identity politics of the worst and most divisive kind, is not an outrage but "make perfect sense. This from a Republican.

I don't know whether to shit or go blind.

I've made the point before that people like to stick to "there own kind", which is my argument for a majority White America, and the end of multiculturalism...on the grounds that it is divisive and dangerous to have too many different "identities" in a single country. It always results in conflict, and sometimes even war. So I "get" the idea of voting for "someone like you."

But "someone like you" doesn't mean your very own sex, your very own exact skin tone, your very own exact age, your very own exact physical mirror reflection, for God's sake! It means someone who shares your values, your history, your language, your culture and your hopes for the future!

Well, this is certainly what the Democrats have been working for for years: Women only voting for women, blacks only voting for blacks, young people only voting for young people, old people only voting for old people. Well they have it, now. Isn't it precious? They must be very pleased. And our Ms. Strassel, ostensible Republican, doesn't seem to think it odd or dangerous.

Multiculturalism and Identity Politics will be the end of America as we know it. And when any Republican can describe such antics without comment, or apparently without noticing the dark, ugly and inevitable implications of it, we're doomed, people, we're doomed.

Time for that armed compound in Idaho.

Not the People's Choice

OK, this is over two years old. But it was just brought to my attention. Apparently our own government finds this opinion and scenario so compelling, that it felt the need to share.

If you wonder why we are disintegrating as a nation, look no further!

Well, OK...maybe not the "government", which is actually elected, but the entrenched, bureaucratic, anti-American cabal known as the State Department, whose seal you will find on the referenced page.

We need to take an ax to that tree. It is poison.
