Stop the Alternative Media...AT ALL COSTS!

Documents made public yesterday by Judicial Watch describe extensive collusion by Federal Communications Commission officials with a left-wing advocacy group in a campaign to expand government regulation of the Internet.

The documents, obtained by Judicial Watch in a December 2010 Freedom of Information Act request, were created after Democrat appointees solidified their 3-2 control of the agency in March 2009.

Does this surprise anyone?

Alex Jones has a related internet story. Okay, Jones may be a conspiracy nut case...but just in case, I thought I ought to include it. Even a stopped watch is correct twice a day, right? And with Øbama in the White House, and Progressives running every agency of government, the entire old media, all of Hollywood and with a monopoly on education...how unlikely is this really?

A Toast

I just want to pause for a moment of appreciation for the internet. Seriously.

Last week, I needed to know how to break down a pistol that I don't shoot often. It'd been so long since I field stripped it, I forgot how. YouTube Video search =  Instant info.

And yesterday the vendor contacted me to tell me that the throwing knives I ordered had shipped. Wham! YouTube Video search = tons of videos demonstrating how to throw knives.

30 years ago...you might have found one book on it in the Library, if you were lucky.

(And lest I forget, I found the exact knives I wanted and was able to procure them only because of  the internet—not many stores in my area carry a selection of good throwing knives!)

Life is GOOD in the Digital Age.

Now we just have to keep the government from taking control of it...."for our own good!"
