I don't have any info as to whether this is true, but I liked. It was forwarded by a friend without any confirmation of its verisimilitude.  It is supposedly an "Analysis of the Situation" published in Hebrew in Israel.

"We are forwarding this in English because we believe this needs to be seen by a much wider audience than just Hebrew-speakers.

Analysis of the Situation: The State of Israel was facing an existential threat for the first time since the War of Independence.

By their deaths, the three youths saved the State of Israel.

The dozens of tunnels that had been dug from Gaza to the southern cities of Israel were not tunnels for the purpose of terrorism – they were the infrastructure for the occupation of the Land of Israel.

If we had not surprised ourselves with the severe response to the kidnap and murder of these boys (of blessed memory), Hamas, at a time that would suit them, would have sent thousands of soldiers through the tunnels to occupy cities and military posts; thousands of soldiers wearing the uniform of IDF soldiers, to kill, to conquer and to kidnap, and the IDF would have had no time to organize, and protect the nation.

At the same time, Hamas would have fired off barrages of hundreds and thousands of missiles at the center of the country, paralyzing Israel’s organizational ability to defend itself against invasion. What were they waiting for? Maybe a rainy day? Or, most likely, the recovery of Hezbollah, in order to coordinate an integrated attack of missiles from the north. . . and possibly tunnels dug towards the northern cities too. .. .

In Israel, in such a situation, there could be tens of thousands of deaths, the complete breakdown of national systems, and the need to build protection at the neighborhood and street levels. This, on the presumption that the Arabs of Judea & Samaria, and some Israeli Arabs, would not join in the fray.

Of course, IAF counter-attacks would be futile when the enemy was well entrenched underground and laughing all the way to Jerusalem! The best case scenario - international forces would come in to disarm the country, take our nuclear capabilities, and the dream of the Jewish State would crumble for another thousand years.

We were saved thanks to two things they did not believe would happen, because we also did not believe it: we did not believe that the abduction of the three boys would unite the nation in such a way that it would lead to massive air assault, the return of political prisoners to jail, and preparation for a ground offensive into the wasps’ nest they had built. And we had not believed that the Iron Dome would work.

In other words - all of us, those to the right and those to the left, had disdained the Islamic-psychopathic rhetoric calling for the conquest of Jerusalem, had ignored the determination of the psychopaths in Iraq and Syria, and did not want to comprehend that they had built a smart, strong and - in fact - quite an excellent military system with almost no flaws, which was capable of crushing the State of Israel.

We had all seen how ten fighting men had exited a tunnel in just a few minutes. What would have prevented two hundred soldiers from exiting a tunnel on any given day, and many thousands altogether from all of the tunnels - including hundreds of commandos landing on the beaches at the same time, and missiles landing in the heart of the country? The truth is that if, now, there were not tens of thousands of Israeli troops in the south, nothing could have prevented the next step in realizing the Islamic dream - the destruction of the Zionist nation, and marching into Jerusalem.

Eyal, Naftali and Gilad - by dying, they saved our country, our freedom and our lives.

Danny Gold - who developed the Iron Dome – may you live a long and healthy life.

And to all of the soldiers – we love you and embrace you. Muster courage and be brave! All the Jewish people, the whole world - and most of all, many of the Arab countries and the sane Muslims - are praying for the craziness to be overcome. Yes, even Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen). Thanks to those poor boys, we caught them with their pants down, when the timing and the conditions don’t suit them. Our State has survived and now is the time to settle accounts with the murderers, to the very last man.

And a word to citizens on the home front – when you hear the sirens, go into the shelter or your safe room and smile! When you hear the "boom" – laugh! These noises are the screams of frustration of the psychopaths in Gaza, whose ingenious plan to crush Israel was prematurely exposed. All of the damage that we are suffering now is nothing compared to what they had been planning."

If I may...and I may, since this is my blog...I'd like to say a word about anti-semitism, and anti-Israel sentiment growing around the world and in America among the morons.

I admit to having wondered in the past myself what a people must do to be so despised by so many, in so much of history? Were the Jews the "common denominator"? Were they doing something to cause such hatred?

But then I changed my perspective, and looked instead at those that hated them....and lo, what did I find? I found Muslims, those hateful members of the Satanic Death Cult of Islam, the Nazis about which nothing further needs to be said, and the disgusting, vile adherents of Progressivism.

Do you really need to know anything beyond the fact that Israel's enemies are Islam, Fascism and Progressivism to know that all sane people should be on Israel's side?

If this doesn't get your rage machine crankin'...please stop reading my blog. I don't want my words soiled by your vision touching them.

Simple really. You are either fully human and fully and passionately abhor this and will stand against it loudly and publicly, or you are not. There is no middle ground.

Maybe there's a less anti-Semitic explanation, but it hardly matters on this one account. Fact is, this president is the most outspoken anti-Israel, and by extension, anti-Jewish president in recent history. Never even mind the "preacher" he listened to for 20 years, and his take on the Jews.

What the fuck don't liberal Jews understand about the Democratic Party, liberalism, progressivism, the murderous Left and anti-semitic Socialism/Communism?

I'm an Israel supporter, myself, but even so, I'm finding it hard to feel anything but contempt for the stupid American Jews who insist on voting for people who despise them.

Self-loathing is all well and good—very sophisticated, I'm sure. But is it really necessary to take it to this self-immolating extreme?

What the hell is it going to take for them to get a grip and smell the ovens burning?

And I keep wondering what they think "Never again!" really means.

I Think I've Figured it Out

Remember a few months back when I was pondering the idea that "so-called" anti-Semitism might have a sound and reasonable cause? I'd been exposed, pretty much for the first time, to a lot of arguments that for reasons of their own tribal survival, Jews had done things to the serious detriment of other races and peoples that have caused lasting, and in many cases, appropriate, resentment and anger.

And, let's face it, it is certainly true that we all—almost always—conspire in our own difficulties. It's human nature. So, there's almost certainly truth to the idea that Jews have alienated others by their own selfish actions and attitudes, thus contributing to their own suffering. Thereby earning full membership in the Family of Human Beings.

And, let's be honest. Nobody is innocent.

But in the final analysis, when there are conflicting stories, arguments and evidence...sometimes the the best way to judge the merits of a case is to consider the character of the antagonists.

Like Solomon.

It must be admitted, the Jew-hater roster is impressive...Nazis, Islamists, the KKK, Marxists, Communists, Fascists, Socialists, the United Nations, White Supremacists, Black Supremacists and Atheists. Oh...and much of today's Euroslime.

Alternatively, the Jew-defenders include Conservatives, classical Liberals, committed Christians, the Pope and the Catholic Church, small "d" democrats, Free Marketeers and all decent people of good will.

Really isn't hard to pick a side, is it?

Horowitz, Steinlight and Auster

A point of view posted at Center for Immigration Studies, by Dr. Stephen Steinlight, (who ought to know) that judges that what once might have been the "monolithic thinking among American Jews on the immigration issue", is, in fact, today, a "raging debate".

The "Jewish" Dilemma (take 2)

The post Poor Jews or Evil Jews? Or Something In Between?
has caused such a flurry of discussion, among both Jews and Gentiles, that I wanted to update it.

To be frank, I was surprised to find so much discussion, so much concern, about "The Jews" among serious thinkers, on the Web, and in recent opinion books, history books and ongoing current discussions—and on this blog. And it spans the spectrum from intense, angry defense of all things Jewish, and accusations of Anti-Semitism being hurled indiscriminately in all directions—to what I would call true and irrational Anti-Semitism.

(These two extreme positions, by the way, are not treated equally. The Jews hurling epithets are considered justified, their opposites are considered dangerous, vile and evil extremists.)

I have found a confusing whirlpool of information and opinion. But one single fact presents itself with monotonous regularity: The sense among Gentiles and Jews that "the Jews" are a monolithic group, separate and different, whose goals and aims are not necessarily in sympathy with those of the majority America culture.

Of course, Gentiles suspicious of Jewish influence maintain this position, and warn against it. But Jewish thinkers also speak of the Jewish world view, and how it affects their actions, choices and politics. And they themselves speak of "The Jews" as a people engaged in group-think...and also of having extraordinary influence in America, particularly relative to their small numbers.

The influence wielded by Jews in America is acknowledged to be very powerful by groups on either side of the Semitic divide.

I think that we can, for the moment, stipulate that this is true.

As to the direction that influence is moving America, there also seems to be little disagreement: secular; anti-Christian; supporting open-borders and massive non-European immigration; multiculturalism; multi-lingualism; and a very high degree of "Liberal" Political Correctness, which includes affirmative action, racial preferences, speech codes, hate crime laws, gun control, gay rights, radical feminism, on-demand abortion, etc.

Those of us who are Conservative are strongly and vociferously against these positions. We see them as the rot ruining America.

To sum up, as acknowledged by Jews and Gentiles alike: Jews are a self-identified "out" group that evidences, in many ways, a sort of group-think, monolithic mindset; has an inordinately powerful influence in American culture, media and politics, and is pushing an agenda that many of us consider terminally dangerous and destructive for the America we love.

Is it therefore completely unreasonable and baseless anti-Semitism to suggest that America has a "Jewish Problem"?

If the Jews didn't have this agenda, but had influence, it wouldn't be a problem.
If they had this agenda, but little influence, it wouldn't be a problem.
But the combination of the two...makes it a damn problem.

Does this knowledge change how we combat the creeping Liberal crud overtaking our culture? It is what it is no matter who's pushing it down our throats. And without the army of Gentiles working for the same sick goals, they'd never get anywhere.

And let us not forget, there are plenty of individual Jews on "our" side!

I guess the reason I 've been examining this issue is that I've always assumed that people who claimed that "The Jews" were a powerful and negative influence in America were, well...nuts. I never listened to a word they said, and wrote them off as loony, Neanderthal bigots.

But recently, for some reason, I stopped long enough to listen for once, and the arguments, surprisingly, were non-hysterical and fairly cogent. It made me wonder if I'd been wrong all this time.

My reading from Gentile and Jewish sources, suggests that Jews as a group have evolved certain strategies that make them feel safer and more secure within alien "host" cultures, in which they have been fated to live since the loss of their homeland—the final destruction of Jerusalem and Second Temple in 70 A.D. by the Romans if I remember correctly.

They keep themselves a sort of nation within a nation, remaining unassimilated, exclusive, alien and thereby readily identifiable...at the same time, engaging in those evolved strategies, which, it turns out, are usually not in the best interests of the Host Culture.

Eventually people will, as people do, figure out what's going on...and resentment and "purging" ensues. The history of Jewish troubles is suggestive of this pattern.

This does not make Jews evil, they are just trying to stay alive and safe; trying to do what I want to do, secure the survival of my race and culture, and the future for our children.

But, if the Jews are to succeed in this ultimate quest, using power, money and influence to the detriment of the majority cultures in which they live, is NOT a winning strategy. At least it hasn't been in the last 2,000 years. (What's that line about insanity: doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results?)

As someone who has never been anti-Semitic, and as a perennial and strong supporter of Israel, I feel rather betrayed to find I am considered an enemy from whom Jews as a group feel they need to protect themselves...enploying strategies that are destructive to my nation, my people, my culture, my traditions, my heritage, and ultimately my future.

If Jews as a group are, indeed, working against my best interests as a White Gentile American, is it unreasonable for me to consider them the "bad guys"?

And if I consider them "the bad guys" for overtly working for the destruction of all I hold dear, is that anti-Semitism or just normal, healthy self interest?

Please understand, I'm not saying that all Jews are bad and should be hated. I adamantly reject that. But I am saying that the philosophical, historical, political position held by many that the Jews as a group are responsible—at least in part—for a lot of whats going so wrong in our country, is not entirely a wild figment of their overheated and bigoted imaginations.

I have been doing a lot of reading and thinking about some very politically incorrect notions. Indeed, they are worse than that, they are in some countries, illegal ideas. Among others they are automatically called "hate".

I'm interested in them because they are the stumbling blocks for me to comfortably and morally associate with groups and people who hold other beliefs that I mostly share.

I am not bothered by being called a "racist" because I believe that every race has a right to their own homeland, even Caucasians. I'm not bothered by being considered a "bigot" because I accept as true the fact that there are actual and measurable differences between races. I don't mind being thought of as evil because I believe that multi-racial societies almost always have racial strife...and that the more races are separated, the happier each are.

But...I do worry about being anti-Semitic. Because I have always considered the Jews to be an innocent persecuted minority whose entire history has been one of inexplicable difficulty, unfair ostracism and undeserved cruelty.

Thus, I found it very disturbing to find that so many of the people who believe as I do about Race, are what can only be described as anti-Semitic.

Now, the people I am talking about are often highly educated, well-read, reasonable, honest, moral, literate and sincerely believe that the separation of the races is not about doing evil to others for the benefit of Whites...but is in fact better for all races, making peace and harmony both within and between races more likely.

So, it seemed odd that in association with this enlightened assessment of our racial problems, they, almost to a man, hold the Jews guilty of crimes against our race and our culture.

If I had found these people to be a hysterical, stereotypical "nigger-hating" lynch mob, I would not have wasted a moment wondering why they "hated" Jews. I would have just dismissed them as idiots and moved on.

But they're anything but hateful. Oh, they're angry, for sure...and for cause.

So I decided to investigate just what it was they were saying about the Jews, and what their beef was. It was hard to approach it with an "open" mind. The very idea of it pretty much offended me down to my pantyhose.

I've only come to a couple of interim conclusions, subject to revision as I get more information.

The argument against the Jews is basically this: They move into a host nation, behave in ways that are good for Jews at the expense of the host population, do not assimilate, remain a group apart, behave and think tribally, and have no compunction in doing whatever it takes to gain personal and group advantage, no matter what damage they do to their hosts or to other peoples.

Due to their undoubted intelligence and work ethic, they rise to the top of many professions, and use their positions of influence to further the above goals. Finance, commerce, and art are typical areas of success and influence.

No matter where, no matter when, and no matter the specifics, this is always at bottom, the general charge and the cause of resentment.

When a society becomes aware of the undue influence, or manipulation, or suffers damage from such practises, it eventually retaliates against the offenders...and another "persecution" of the Jews commences.

Now, this is my own generalization, based on what I have read. Many of the "racists" who are also "anti-semitic" are only aware of what they see as the damage and undue influence Jews are wielding in America and the West today. They see policies that are inimical to our culture, our way of life, our unity and cohesion. They see that many of these paths were blazed by Jews. And they resent that the result of them is the dissolution of our racial and cultural homogeneity.

The next logical step is to try to figure out if this is true. Do Jews do this?

I'm not a historian, so I cannot, on my own authority, verify or disprove specific charges made regarding the historical behavior of Jewish people. But there are a few indicators that turn out to be interesting, and perhaps telling.

There is a list, provided by a Jewish website of the history of Jewish "persecution". It is presented there clearly to show that they are perpetual victims, and that everyone of conscience should prevent it from ever happening again.

But there is another way to look at this list:

Or one might ask, "Why have so many various and different groups of people, after living with Jews, found them so objectionable that they either took arms against them, or expelled them from their countries?

Has this happened, perpetually and repeatedly throughout ALL of known history to any other group of people?

If I heard about a group of guys that get thrown out of every bar they hang out in would I automatically assume that every bar owners is "persecuting" the group? Or is it more likely that these guys are repeatedly doing something that pisses off bar owners?

Even if their protestations of innocence do seem convincing, doesn't the overwhelming number of incidents create a pattern that cannot be ignored?

And being aware of this pattern, as a bar owner, would you prefer to keep these guys out of your place? Would you be a "bigot" if you did?

An interesting conundrum proponents of what is called anti-Semitism find themselves in, is that they always argue that ONLY that which they disagree with or oppose is the fault of the Jews. Now this makes their arguments vulnerable...as it should...when evidence of Jews acting in apparently opposing ways is discovered.

The Far Right is up in arms because the Jews are responsible in part for the mixing of the races, via their vital role in the Civil Rights movement, and the destruction of the family via their promotion of abortion rights, feminism; and their glorification of secularism and all the Liberal degeneracy that the Far Right hates. The Far Right "Hates" the Jews for Promoting Liberalism.

The Far Left is up in arms because Neo-Conservative Jews are responsible for the Muslims hatred of us because of our intractable support of Israel; are responsible for the War in which American sons are fighting the Zionist war against Afghanistan, Iraq...and as they see it, soon, Iran. They are furious that we are paying billions of dollars in aid to Israel, that evil aggressor and usurper of the Middle East. The Far Left "Hates" the Jews for Promotion Neo-Conservatism.

Now...they can't both be right, can they?

The question, of course, assumes the Jews must be on one side or the other. But suppose they're are not on the Conservative Side or the Liberal Side, but on their own side. Isn't it possible that promoting multicultural and "tolerant" ideas, and promoting war with Israel's enemies are perfectly consistent from the Jewish point of view?

As for the sincerity of the Left and Right, think how unlikely, if they were just arbitrarily choosing a "convenient scapegoat" for their complaints, that they would choose a common enemy. It's not like there is a shortage of groups to choose from in this political environment.

The two camps don't agree on the color of the sky. That they would voluntarily choose the same "bad guys" is unthinkable, unless they really believed in it.

Now, obviously, "believing in it" doesn't make it true. But, again, here is this pattern continued, in which the Jews are the common denominator: Opposing sides, with nothing in common, indeed, with much animosity, find themselves, surely against their preference, identifying a common enemy.

At what point do we stop automatically assuming that Jews are always the innocent victims of everyone else's mindless wrath? What in the make up of human beings of all races, colors, creeds, cultures, levels of civilizations, historical eras and geographical locations prompts them to choose the Jews to pick on?

All I can say is, there's more to this than meets the eye. There's something going on here.

And for now, that's as far as I've gotten.
