Donald Trump

When Mr. Trump announced that he was running for president, I had the same response as everyone else. I rolled my eyes at the idea of a guy known for being an egotist with weird hair and a reality show running for "Leader of the Free World".

Then two things happened.

First, he attacked Illegal Immigration with a passion...and I sat up and took notice. As a California native (of several generations)...the Mexican invasion is very real to me. And I want it stopped and reversed, so we can have our State back.

And Second, he was immediately attacked by the Democrats and more importantly (to me), the Republican establishment (aka the GOPe).

When both Crime Families of the Washington Cartel are trying to destroy the same guy, you gotta figure he's the man to support if you're one of the white hats.

(Note: If Donald Trump had not entered the race, they'd be aiming all their ordnance at Ted Cruz, so you can count on him as being on the side of the angels, too.)

This morning, on the radio, I actually heard the talking heads proclaiming against Trump for something he DIDN'T SAY during a townhall meeting. Apparently a questioner prefaced his inquiry with the statement that Øbama was a muslim, then asked his question, which Trump duly answered.

Trump did not, however, bother to correct the man's statement and thus is now being castigated for neglecting to proclaim Øbama a patriotic American fighter for Truth, Justice and the American Way as well as a devout, practicing Christian.

The idiot on the radio actually asked with a straight face (metaphorically, of course) whether this would "hurt" Trump's approval in the polls.

This is how insane they've become.

And I have to admit, even if there were no other good reason to vote for him...and there are plenty of other good reasons to vote for him...I'd be tempted to do so just to fuck with the swarm of assholes who are so hysterically going to any length to destroy him.

He's beginning to be seen as the People's Revenge against the Political Crime Families and the Washington Cartel. And if that catches on, Washington insiders are toast.

From my typing digits...

  1. It must have been tough before our entry into WWII to decide who to cheer for, the Germans or the Russians? No matter who won, an elitist-statist would sit on the throne.

While I like many things Trump says, he is still an elitist and his idea of getting the best and brightest to run things is no different than the liberal and GOPe idea of doing the same thing.

I just read Trump's statements on the 2nd Amendment and what I see is another excuse to expand the federal government with mental health facilities, national permits, reformed national gun checks and more. That is not the position of a conservative but of a pseudo-conservative that wants to run us with czars and dutiful bureaucrats.

I cheer Trump's smack down of any elitists that aspire to "rule" us, but he is one of them only with views more to our liking. Where is the one that understands our strength and happiness was derived from ruling ourselves? Maybe we as a people, a nation, are no longer fit to govern ourselves. Maybe we do need to be ruled by 5 lawyers in black robes, or people who deliberately ignore of our constitution, or anyone with a pen and a phone?

Trump is not the answer for a nation collapsing from moral depravity. Nonetheless, I will still enjoy the "show".
