Keep Timmy

I guess there are some rumblings in some quarters about whether Tim Geitner should, will, oughta quit or get kicked out of Treasury...on his ass.

I say no.

He is clearly an incompetent, who's never done anything in his life that qualifies him for the post, but it's not like Obama will select someone that will be better for the economy, or do the right thing, or support capitalism, or oppose the draconian destruction of our free market.

But he might choose someone who's more convincing, who's more photogenic, who's a better faker and liar. Someone whose mistakes and incompetence would be equally damaging to our country, but not so obvious and glaring. He might actually escape blame and mocking.

And that would be bad.

We need the fools running Washington to be seen as fools. It's our only hope. It's not going to be hard to convince our friends and neighbors that Geitner is an idiot. The next guy might be slicker...like Willie or Barry. And we don't need any more of those.

I say support the retention of Tim Geitner as Treasury Secretary. It can only get worse.

Just in: Apparently Obie has stood firm in support of Timmy with a touch of temper. This is a good thing.
