Is it Really About Bonuses?

Democrat politicians in Washington are out of control. Completely, totally, criminally, insanely OUT OF CONTROL.

These assholes who among themselves, decided to write and pass (most without reading) the Magical Mystery Leftist Wet Dream Spending Spree....into which Democrat Senator Christopher Dodd put an exemption so that these contractually agreed bonuses would be paid, are now faking outrage and shock, disgust and fury that such a thing was done.

And to hear Chuck Shumer threaten to pass retroactive legislation to deny people their contracted wages, because he wants to make populist points, is nothing less than totalitarian...even monarchical power of Divine Right to do, say, take, rule, by whim for whatever reason, in any case, at any time, for any purpose, to any subject.

Democrats wrote, voted for, passed, and Democrat Obama signed a bill into LAW, including a particular, specific provision that makes these bonuses legal and permitted.

How then do the Democrats have the gall, the stupendous gall and chutzpah to act as though they are somehow the innocent and honest guardians of the public welfare, outraged by this abuse of the public generosity and trust (I'm gagging just writing this)...by singling out these few particular individuals, and subjecting them to inexcusable and utterly undeserved censure?

The government....the Democrats...decided that AIG, in spite of its performance, was "too big to fail". They decided, despite arguments from Conservatives, free-marketers and Libertarians to allow this failing enterprise to fail, poured billions into it.

I'd rather have the billions back...and let the executives keep their paltry millions.

And that they would pretend outrage and publicly lynch private citizens for their own political cover and pretense of "responsibility" makes me sick.

Washington is like the outhouse on Bob Dylan's "compound". And its stink is oozing over the entire country. We need to clean that sewer out, once and for all.
