It Just Keeps Getting Better

"Obama issued a withering critique Thursday of Wall Street corporate behavior, calling it "the height of irresponsibility" for employees to be paid more than $18 billion in bonuses last year while their crumbling financial sector received a bailout from taxpayers.

"It is shameful," Obama said from the Oval Office. "And part of what we're going to need is for the folks on Wall Street who are asking for help to show some restraint, and show some discipline, and show some sense of responsibility.

The president's comments, made with new Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner at his side . . ."

Okay, am I the only one that finds this just a little funny? Well, after I got the duct tape quickly wrapped around my head so it wouldn't explode, that is.

The emphasis...is mine.

It's from the Associated Press, that beacon of objectivity in journalism. I'm so glad we've got these Media "watchdogs" keeping an eye on the government for us, and giving us this sort information with a straight face.

I've had my questions about Zero...whether he is monumentally arrogant, or actually stupid. I'm starting to lean towards stupid. At the very least, "not ready for prime time".

Almost every appointment he's made is tainted. The cloud of corruption is getting thicker with every choice. From Hillary to Geithner to Holder to Daschle ...to the passel of lobbyists—which he voluntarily promised to not include in his administration.

What is wrong with this twit? Does he just believe that anything he does is okay because he does it? (What was it Nixon said...something like it can't be illegal if the President does it?)

Alternatively, is he so mired in Chicago politics, that he simply doesn't understand that to the rest of the country, this is an egregious display of moral turpitude and flagrant disregard of honesty and decency?

It's a puzzle. As always, one wonders, "Who is this guy? And how the hell did this idiot get to be 'President'?"
