Just to complete the record, not that anyone reading this needs to be told...Timothy Geithner, proven tax-cheat and IMF-money thief has been approved by Senate Committee Democrats (and a few morally vacant Republicans).

This corrupt, cheating, lying, stealing sorry excuse for a human being is Zero's pick to be in charge of the National Treasury and the agency that collects, um, TAXES.

He's so brilliant, he invented T.A.R.P. which so far has utterly failed to ease the "credit crunch", doesn't have a clue where the first $300+ billion has gone to...and is in an anxious frenzy to spend much, much more. Oh, and he's sorry for getting caught cheating on his taxes, but it wasn't much ($34k, more than many families in American make in a year), besides, TurboTax confused him.

But he is the only GENIUS that can save the economy.

Lesson: Being perceived as clever is more important than trustworthiness, for public "service".

Of course, no one expects this guy to "serve" the public, (what an amusingly old-fashioned idea, in this new, hip, happenin' White House) but to advance the Sun King's aspirations for Big STATE socialism, so I suppose we can't say Zero's made a "mistake". But he has, certainly according to his own stated standards, put himself on the wrong side of history with the choice of this corrupt person, whose demonstrated agenda is to keep/take money that doesn't belong to him, whom Zero has charged with control of the NATIONAL TREASURY.

I just needed to say that again because the sick irony of it actually makes it a little difficult to process.
