Corruption Confirmed

Geithner confirmed. (nickname: Fraudy McCheat, which brought a momentary smile.)

Feeling disenfranchised yet?

Here's the vote: (click for clarity!)

To keep it simple here's the list of Republicans without principles:

Corker (R-TN)
Cornyn (R-TX)
Crapo (R-ID)
Ensign (R-NV)
Graham (R-SC)
Gregg (R-NH)
Hatch (R-UT)
Shelby (R-AL)
Snowe (R-ME)
Voinovich (R-OH)

In the spirit of fairness, here are the Democrats who voted "nay":

Byrd (D-NC)
Feingold (D-WI)
Harkin (D-IA)
Risch (D-ID)

  1. Thru the last few months,my Senators (Alexander and Corker)from Tennessee seem to be doing a tag-team thang---one votes yea,the other votes nay, with no consistency, just beltway bullshit.Plus,State Senate Repubs got betrayed in Speaker race by a RINO asshole who swore to back the conservative guy, then did a Benedict Arnold and got the Dems to vote HIM in as Speaker by one vote.Counteractive maneuvers proceeding,but...I'm a-feared Tennessee is showing signs of Californication (an "English-only for official State biz" recently failed). Is Fraudy McCheat related to Hopey McChange? Those friggin' Irish...(my maternal Grandad was named ELVIS RILEY,btw,a WW1 vet who got gassed in the war, which explained a lot...Oh well.

  2. It reminds me of George Carlin's bit about how white guys hanging out with black guys pick up the "black talk"...but not the other way around.

Conservatives hanging out with Liberals pick up "Liberal think".

The common denominator: Laziness and sloppiness. The former in pronunciation, the latter in thinking.
