It's nice to know I'm not alone in my take on this election and our response to it.

"We need to be gracious in defeat?" Rush says, "Screw defeat!"

He recognizes spongy Republicanism too. Mealy-mouths who are either not real Conservatives, or are afraid to declare their conservatism proudly and loudly...for fear that the Left might not like them.

He, like me, says that it's time we take over the GOP, and purge the conciliators, the "compassionates" , the compromisers, the moderates, the elite Republican Beltway effetes who snubbed and dismissed the Beauteous Sarah.

He, like me, understands that the problem is not conservatism, but the LACK of it in the Republican Party. He, like me, believes that "extremism in defense of freedom is no vice". And it's time for the Radical Republicans to take over the Party.

And we can win.

In California, Proposition 8, a state constitutional amendment outlawing gay marriage has passed. Yes. In California!

What does that say? It is utterly conservative. Unabashedly conservative. Unapologetically conservative. And it passed. In California!

The opposition even couched it in terms of "unfairness" and "equality" and "bigotry"...all serious Liberal buzzwords. And yet, it passed. In California!

Six years ago, California voters voted to ban gay marriage. Subsequently, the California courts decreed that the people's will was unconstitutional. Even in this Liberal playground, the people resented the courts legislating from the bench against the will of the People...and yesterday passed a constitutional amendment barring gay marriage, which puts the issue to rest, beyond the reach of the legislature, beyond the reach of the court, and even beyond the reach of the scofflaw Mayor Newsom of San Francisco.

When conservative ideas are presented without equivocation...voters respond favorably.
When conservatives principles are maintained without compromise, voters respond favorably.
When Conservative candidates run as Conservatives, voters respond favorably. If you doubt it, please remember the energized crowds that flocked to the Beauteous Sarah—in spite of the overwhelming assault on her by the monolithic Mainstream Media.

It was the "moderation" of the Conservative message and Conservative principles that ensured defeat for Republicans. Now it is time to reclaim them unequivocally.

We can beat this poser and his party with True Conservativism.
