News Flash!

NBC calls the Øbama presidency "over"

Wow...NBC actually got the message that the pResident is not really good at the job.

What a concept. Hard to believe, I know.

Look for more autocratic rulings, pen/phone dictats, more breaking of laws, more vacations, more spending, more persecutions.

Expect lawlessness until 2016.

And hope we can staunch the tide of it after that...without violence and actual revolution.

The Madness of King Barry

Bob Woodward.

I remember Watergate.

(Yes, I'm that old.)

Can he be the same muckracking guy? Even against a Democrat. A lefty, commie, Democrat??

Who woulda thunk it?

"A Kind of Madness"

Shades of King George?

You know what THAT spawned...

Awwww...Poor Little EgØbama

Comment on one of the Brietbarts regarding Øbama now blaming Fox for all that's wrong in his administration and his narcissistic little world.
"When you coast through life getting preferential treatment, and then suddenly find yourself playing hard ball with the big boys and girls, and not getting a participation trophy every time you walk out the front door, then you are probably prone to believe that some sinister force is conspiring against you.

We need a leader who lives in reality, not in a fog of rationalizations."
Lovely, that.

To Sum Up....

Scandalously & remorselessly stolen outright from Kerr Mudgeon:

"When you’re in the Oval Office and you turn on the TV and see Greece going up in flames, the inevitable result of a country living beyond its means, and you decide that’s going to continue to be your economic role model, the best that can be said about you is that you’re stubborn, ignorant and irresponsible.

When you decide that the best way to go about getting re-elected is by pitting Americans against each other on the basis of race, class and religion, cynically turning this noble nation into a banana republic, you go from being just another Chicago hack with a leftwing agenda to joining the putrid ranks of demagogues and dictators."

. . . Columnist Burt Prelutsky

So, to sum up, we have as President of the United States a stubborn, ignorant, irresponsible, putrid demagogue & dictator.

No argument here.

Nothing is Impossible

Here's one you might want to read:

The Executive Order Controversy. You might want to consider whether a stylish tinfoil hat is appropriate. The author wonders himself while he offers a creepy scenario, that, given the current occupant of the White House cannot be entirely disregarded.

"Yes, it is far-fetched, but it is also distressingly possible. The sad fact in America today is that we have a president so disdainful of our foundational law and freedoms as to make the far-fetched seem queasily reasonable.

The timing of this executive order is jarring, even if the specific changes to the order are not. The power it conveys is staggering and cannot be safely entrusted to a single branch of government, much less to a single man. The Congress needs to reassert control over the exercise and implementation of the Defense Production Act before it can be utilized by a power-hungry cabal of leftists eager to fundamentally transform America. There is a door no one has locked, and our home is not secure. Close the door, lock it, and throw away that key."

Nothing is impossible anymore. Nothing is beyond the pale. Nothing is unthinkable.

Think it all. Prepare for the worst. Sad.

Pathology in the White House

There is something beautiful about the simplicity and directness of this comment by Michael at American Thinker.  This is what people say when they are not gagged by political correctness...and the necessity of pretending friendship with a foul enemy. It is most refreshing.

It's also terrifying, considering this sociopath is president.

"Obama is the malignant spawn of the liberial socialism that gave the world 200 million deaths in the 20th century. There are three words that Obama cannot and will not utter: "I am responsible." As a malignant narcissist, his whole life has been nothing but a carefully contrived, orchestrated sham. Unfortunately, he is not the cause, but the fruit of the disease that has rotted this country from within. We must be sure to remove him from office in November, but more importantly, our country must open an internal dialogue with itself to address the fundamental causes that produced such a tyrant. Our society has millions of creatures like Obama, sapping our country's resouces, clogging our jails and prisions.

As a clinician, I see and care for people like him every day. Obama is not unique. He is remarkable only by position. Eventually, his handlers will tire of him and break and discard him when he is no longer useful. Unless we strip away the masks of deception and deceit that propelled him into office, we will have more people like him to damage and ruin this country. We must root out and destroy the cause of this disease, not just treat the symptoms."

You can find it here.

Chris Rock' s Really Not So Funny

So...before you laugh at another one of this asshole's jokes, check this out.

God, they just never get tired of being self-righteous hypocrites, do they?

Anti-Colonial = Anti-American

Seems like a movie everybody needs to see. Hard to believe it actually got made in America today! Sad, that.

Battered Redux...

I've used this image before, but it bears repeating—right through November. The flowers, the quote and the "wife-beater". Whoever created this is an image genius. Are we going to take him back for more of the same, or burn the fucking bed?

Of Bunkers and Bunkum

You think I'm paranoid, right?

Not so much...  this time on American Thinker.

What does a patriot do now?

Where DID I put that Crucifix?

We're all Catholics now.   At least, we'd better be.

Alas, it's not a question of the administration being tragically "tone deaf," as one American Jesuit claimed, to specifically Catholic concerns. Nor is the bedrock of President Obama's position, in the end, a commitment to "women's health." Outside the ghoulish world of Planned Parenthood, pregnancy does not qualify as a disease. A fertile womb is no threat to human life.

No, this is all about the absolutization of choice for the sake of choice. It's also about creating a society in which any discussion of the actual ends we choose is considered unacceptable in public debates about law and morality.

Bedtime Stories

As a child, I loved the simple stories of heroes and villains.

When I grew up, I found that life was rarely that cut & dried. Shades of grey do exist in the adult's world, and it's rarely as exhilarating as those precious bedtimes when the hero boldly vanquished the unequivocal monster.

But...wonder of wonders, it appears that in our lifetime we are to be treated to fantasy become reality.

It's getting harder to deny anymore...even as my adult, grownup brain wants to disdain the idea—actual evil seems to be afoot in the world, and its guise is becoming ever more clear.

See if you agree.

"Contained within his secularism is a totalitarian seed, which will grow and grow until nothing is a 'private' matter. As the hapless executives at the Komen Foundation recently learned--after committing the thought crime of withholding private donations from abortionists--no one is free to leave Obama's Animal Farm."

About the Facts

If it's sad but true that for 2012, "facts won't matter", then it'll be good if the Republican candidate remembers it, and speaks to the hope and triggers the emotions of voters.

If emotion wins elections...at least let's get good at it.

How Did It Come To This...?

"Obama is a disaster not only because of his politics but because he is so totally unfit to hold the office that he does. And he holds it at a moment of supreme crisis.

This is not good."

That's the conclusion. Here's the story that precedes it.

So Many Pundits, So Many Opinions

Already this morning, I've read pieces that state uncategorically that Republicans will lose in November. And now, one that assumes, without breaking a sweat that they will win.

I hope this guy's right, but it's hard to trust the "experts".
