Here's another story about the false dealing of the IPCC (International Panel on Climate Change) of the U.N.

The Chairman of the panel has been unarguably revealed as an anti-science liar.

Here's the deal. This "scientist" finds it perfectly acceptable to hide facts and the truth in the service of his ideological belief.

Now....

Innacurate history has it that the Catholic Church was the great enemy of "science". While untrue, this idea has entered the popular culture as an unquestioned factoid because of the unremitting repetition of it by those who hate the Church—and are embarrassingly uninformed.

Please note:  The idea is that the Catholic Church sought to forbid, bury, outlaw, and hide inconvenient scientific truth from the world in the service of its ideological, spiritual, faith-based dogma.

And...this is different from the Warmers.....how?

The historical FACT is that the Church did no such thing. But they are castigated endlessly by the Godless Progressive Left as having done so.

While at the same time, that very Godless, Progressive Left is doing precisely what it accuses the Church of doing: seeking to forbid, bury, outlaw and hide inconvenient scientific truth in the service of its ideological, spiritual, faith-based dogma.

Phony EPA Powers & Progressive Lies

So. Here's the deal.

The EPA has declared CO2 to be a danger to human health.  Therefore they have the jurisdiction to regulate it.

The Resident's brilliant EPA head is threatening to do that by fiat: Totally control every facet of our lives....or at least anything that requires ENERGY...in any way she sees fit.

And thus is born complete government tyranny. She, naturally, will do whatever Øbama wants. So in effect, he is a real Czar—with unlimited power over our lives. I mean, let's be real, is there anything at all we do or use that doesn't require energy at some point in its creation, delivery or function?

Now...The EPA only has the power to do this because Congress passed the Clear Air Act, which:

"...defines EPA's responsibilities for protecting and improving the nation's air quality and the stratospheric ozone layer."

Obviously if the Congress defined the EPA's responsibilities, it can repeal them. So the EPA only has the power it does because Congress granted it them. In other words, Congress is in charge here.

But the next act in this little play will be this Progressive Congress pleading that they MUST pass some sort of Crap & Tax bill so that the EPA won't take over total control of our country by fiat.

They will pose and pretend there is nothing they can do but "rescue" us from the draconian regulations sure to emanate from the EPA by passing a bill that's "less extreme".

And in this way, they will pass Crap & Tax

This has been the plan all along. Obviously.

We were all led into thinking that this obscene bill was dead in the water, but the master manipulators in the White House have fooled us again...we should learn: always watch what the left hand is doing—nothing is ever what it seems!


So this is what we have to do:

Let Congress we know that WE KNOW they have total control over the mission and responsibilities of the EPA, and that they can shut this idiocy down with single stroke. And that they won't get away with this sham dance they're trying to pull off.

The EPA does not have dictatorial powers granted by the Constitution, it is under the control of "We the People" through our representatives.

Don't let the bastards even think about trying to get away with this shit!

And don't let the lying Marxist Grad-Student in the White House have one more ounce of power over our lives.

Gordon Crovitz's "The Web Discloses Inconvenient Climate Truths," Information Age, Nov. 30), an illuminating and contrasting backdrop is this description of scientific conduct, given in 1974 by that scientist's scientist, Nobel laureate physicist Richard P. Feynman:

"There is one feature I notice that is generally missing in "cargo cult science." . . . It's a kind of scientific integrity, a principle of scientific thought that corresponds to a kind of utter honesty—a kind of leaning over backwards.

For example, if you're doing an experiment, you should report everything that you think might make it invalid—not only what you think is right about it: other causes that could possibly explain your results; and things you thought of that you've eliminated by some other experiment, and how they worked . . . Details that could throw doubt on your interpretation must be given, if you know them. . . . If you make a theory, for example, and advertise it, or put it out, then you must also put down all the facts that disagree with it, as well as those that agree with it."

Robert Gibbs, the gormless spokesman for the Resident has announced that in spite of the evidence, the Bamster still believes in Global Warming.

Yeah, okay.

Something so perfectly suited to facilitate the installation of a Socialist World Government is not going to be given up easily by the Marxist Grad Student occupying the White House.

The White House on Monday made exceptionally clear that it wants nothing to do with the furor over documents that global warming skeptics say prove the phenomenon is not a threat.

Despite the incident, which rocked international headlines last week, climate science is sound, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs stressed this afternoon, and the White House nonetheless believes "climate change is happening."

Please note that there is no suggestion that the "science" (rates scare quotes now) of Global Warming is TRUE...just a statement that they don't want to have to deal with the inconvenient truth.

Oh, and the proclamation that the Resident "believes". Like some sort of cult member. That's comforting.

Don't confuse the boy with FACTS...he's already made up his mind.

"I think there's no real scientific basis for the dispute of this," responded Gibbs to questions about those scientists' credibility.

Right there on the front page of "Science and Environment" of the BBC web page. While our gummint morons are working hard to pass "Cap & Trade" to destroy our economy and quality of life in the name of a "emergency" that doesn't exist.

This headline may come as a bit of a surprise, so too might that fact that the warmest year recorded globally was not in 2008 or 2007, but in 1998.

But it is true. For the last 11 years we have not observed any increase in global temperatures.

And our climate models did not forecast it, even though man-made carbon dioxide, the gas thought to be responsible for warming our planet, has continued to rise.

So what on Earth is going on?

Climate change sceptics, who passionately and consistently argue that man's influence on our climate is overstated, say they saw it coming.

Super Commie Van Jones is at it again. He seems to be all over Øbama's policy ground.

Jones, who has reinvented his tactics (he's Mr. Cleanjeans now), but not his radical "social justice" i.e., Marxist ideology, has left his fingerprints all over the place given his association with the Apollo Alliance which seems to pop up an awful lot, including in the writing of the Stimulus Bill, which wasted untold amounts of Americans' money, throwing it down rat-holes like ACORN.

Here's what Matthew Vadum at American Spectator has to say about him, in Greenwashing 9/11.

The group, called Green for All, was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in California on Dec. 11, 2007 by Jones. Green for All is one of two groups involved in a campaign called Green the Block. Green the Block was created "to educate and mobilize communities of color to ensure a voice and stake in the clean-energy economy," according to its website. Jones was also on the board of the Apollo Alliance, a hard-left environmentalist group that is now running large chunks of the Obama administration. The group has acknowledged that it dictated parts of the February stimulus bill to Congress.

From where I stand, he looks like a good candidate for the Alinsky treatment: Choose a person as a target, freeze them and destroy them. He's a very handy mark. And given his politics, he makes it easy. We don't have to "demonize" him. He's done that himself.

Remember my post about "degradation" of terms, and the constant necessity to revise them in the losing battle to pretend they don't mean what they mean?

Well, here's a real life example of a conspiracy between government officials and the EnviroStasi to create a new set of euphemisms...because the old set has been tainted by....reality!

The Strategy: Don't tell the truth...just tell the same lies with new words!

This is a perfect example of Progressivism in action. I guess this is what ZerO meant by "transparency". Words are so stripped of meaning...you can see right through them.

At first, I actually wrote here: "I give the New York Times credit for printing this." Because, frankly, I am shocked that they did.
