ReplyDeleteMost people are ignorant of data documenting global climate over hundreds of millions of years, Al Gore and his cronies are capitalizing on that ignorance. So are people on the other side of this debate. The Earth is currently in a cool period with relatively low CO2 levels (geologically speaking). However, the Earth is on a climate rollercoaster, it may be warm this year, but cold the next. To point at a specific day or month to characterize large scale climate change as warm or cold is ludicrous. In recorded human history, we have experienced periods of high temperatures resulting in drought and famine. We have experienced cool periods resulting in short lived ice ages. Ultimately the climate debate is moot; we shouldn’t pollute, we should use less fossil fuel, build more efficient cars and recycle. Why, because this planet is our only home.
