Jack Kemp takes the same line as I do on the issue of restoring voting rights to ex-convicts who complete their sentences and parole, and demonstrate the desire to become productive citizens.
Republican rabble rousers defining this issue as "Democrats seek Convict Vote" are exploiting and demonizing real people in order to make a few cheap political points. In other words, they're acting like Democrats, and it's a disgusting spectacle.
