How is it possible for liberals to believe that gender roles are strictly social constructs...and at the same time insist on the existence of transgender people who are born into the "wrong" body?
The former demands acceptance of the idea that there are no intrinsic differences between male and female brains. The latter demands acceptance of the idea that there are such fundamental intrinsic differences between male and female brains that when one is born into the body of the opposite sex, extreme, hopeless, endless misery ensues.
