Gunslinger,an article in one of our national newspapers today,The Daily Mail,says the population of America hit the 300 million mark this week,and that the people are getting fed up with uncontrolled immigration,FUCKING HELL,300 MILLION,I think you are in the shit and we are close behind,BUT,at least the people are stirring and getting angry,WHEN will the pressure explode,I CANT WAIT!.
ReplyDelete300,000,000 is a lot of people, but it's a BIG country. We have vast tracts of uninhabited and uncultivated land. (English aquaintances of mine have expressed astonishment at the emptiness and wildness of so much of it...even within and near major metro centers.
ReplyDeleteWe can comfortably handle the numbers. The problem is WHO they are, not HOW MANY. And THAT is pissing people off.
The milestone passed without much of a ripple because everyone reckons it's likely to have been one of 1,000 illegal babies born that day.
Not exactly something to celebrate.
Yes, it's amazing how the entire populace can be up in arms about it, and the government totally refuses to deal with it.
There is a group called the Minutemen...private citizens who are actually building a wall between Mexico and the US! With private money, on private property...which abuts alot of the border. Volunteers are constructing the wall, watching the border, or like me, donating money.
And the government calls them/us vigilantes!

Democrats think illegals/Mexican immigrants will vote overwhelmingly for their party. They care more about power and winning than the safety or survival or integrity of the country.
Republicans want illegals/Mexican immigrants as cheap labor. They care more about profits than their country.
That's the theory anyway. The thing is, any politicial/party that really did something about the problem would get overwhelming support and probably be swept into office en masse...but still, they don't...so you have to wonder...what else is going on here?
They bite and snipe and cheat and lie to beat the other party to power...but BOTH utterly ingore the one, sure issue that would make them instant winners.
It's just too weird. I may be the "Cult of Diversity" has so warped their brains that they, like all cult members, cannot think for themselves, or see the glaringly obvious because it contradicts their brainwashing.
It's a mystery, this question of "why" our leaders are so intractable on the subject.
