From the Web

Regarding Trump, the hysterical reaction to him by the the Political Class. Here are a few of my favorite comments to this post:

"Both political party establishments and their media mouthpieces are seriously deluding themselves with the meme that Trump's supporters are "less educated" and not overly politically engaged.

The vast majority of those expressing support for him on these pages are anything but.
This is full scale revolution against the entrenched DC political class and they can't bring themselves to admit that they brought it on themselves so they dismiss Trump's supporters as unsophisticated rubes and personality cult followers.

Oh well, whatever makes them feel better about themselves.

He's certainly got their attention. The donor class is mobilizing big time to bring him down.
What they again fail to grasp is the more they slime him in the media, the more his support grows. We're sophisticated enough to understand that the media and the attack ad buyers at the Chamber of Commerce and the Business Roundtable are all part of the political class and they are as much the target of our rage as the politicians they own.

Jeb!'s their patsy. They'd be much happier with a President Hillary than a President Trump. The rape, pillage and plunder of the American taxpayer will continue unabated."

"Bingo mebenhack, this line is the clincher; 'This is full scale revolution against the entrenched DC political class and they can't bring themselves to admit that they brought it on themselves so they dismiss Trump's supporters as unsophisticated rubes and personality cult followers.'

The career politicians have been treating we the people like mushrooms for a long time. They no more listen to us because they don't believe they have to. They've had their way for so long they believe they're untouchable.

They are wrong, and they will find out just how wrong they are."

I believe that many politicians & especially Obama are operating under the "what are you gonna do about it" scheme.

"They are gonna accuse us of "wanting to shut down the Government!" Ok. Yeah, if that's what it takes to scrape you corrupt barnacles off the hull of this republic. I'm cool with that!"

"We have a government that has:

1). Spent somewhere in the neighborhood of 19 trillion dollars more than it has -- and that is just what it will admit to, the actual number is at least an order of magnitude bigger than that.

2). Systematically usurped freedoms, even though they are ensconced in the fundamental "law of the land".

3). Co-opted the very foundations of scientific research and credibility by funding "research" that leads to conclusions it wants, thus promulgating a massive worldwide hoax (Glo-bull Warming / Climate Change / whatever-they-call-it-this-week).

4). Set up and continues to operate a gigantic Ponzi scheme disguised as a national retirement system.

5). Given and continues to give taxpayer money to an organization that literally butchers fetuses removed from wombs and sells their parts like choice cuts of meat.

6). Co-opted healthcare through a Byzantine web of regulations, payment schedules and requirements -- despite the fact that NOBODY ever went to a politician to get cured of ANYTHING.

7). Regulated entire industries out of the country -- and given them taxpayer-funded support when they did.

Of course, this list could go on ad nauseum. But I must cite one more item:

8). Sold us (and all of the rest of civilization) out to the Iranians.

Please Tell Me W*H*Y This Accursed Government Should Not Be Shut Down!"
