Why They Hate

As a follow up to my post called "Why the Jews", I have one other observation.

As I noted in the above post, the Ethical Monotheism of the Jews was a challenge to those governments that sought ultimate, total control and authority over their population. The Jews, always maintaining the ultimate authority of God, was, at least, a symbolic challenge to such governments and were often persecuted for it.

Hitler, Islamists and Commies* come immediately to mind.

But there is another reason why the Jews have excited such animosity among the populace...as opposed to the leadership. And that is their singular prosperity.

Jews, at least that remnant that still holds to the old values, live according to the Ethical Monotheism they introduced to the world.

They value hard work, education, intact families, thrift, honesty, sobriety, a relationship with God, and living by the Golden Rule and the Ten Commandments. As a result, they are often more prosperous that other "communities" who don't value these things.

Contrast these, for example with those of the inner-city, where crime is high, illiteracy is widespread, the school drop-out rate is huge, most families have a single-parent, and welfare rather than work, is the norm.

Now, introduce that popular "Zero-Sum" faux economics of the Left: The idea that there is only a finite amount of wealth in the world, so that if YOU have too much of it, there won't be enough left for ME.

This is, of course patently false. Wealth is constantly "created" by industrious, creative and innovative people. The potential for wealth in infinite. It all depends on the individual.

But something being undeniable untrue, false, a lie, never stop the hate-hustlers from using it to get what they want.

Here's how they pretend it works: Zero-Sum Game claims, falsely, that if Group A has more money, property or wealth than Group B,  it's because A somehow "stole" the wealth from B.

The fact that Group A gets educated, stays employed, works hard, and makes sacrifices, and Group B sits on their asses smoking dope and collecting welfare....

...has nothing to do with it, and if you say it does you're a "hater".

Surprise!  When you look at the groups of people who "hate the Jews"...it's pretty much always the sort of people who think this way...and have decided that the prosperity of the Jews, who do all the right things for success in the world...have somehow "stolen" a part of the wealth that should be theirs.

 Let's see:

Ignorant Blacks (see Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson) have a particular enmity to the Jews.
Muslims too
Poor White trash Neo-Nazis/White Supremacists hate the Jews
Loser Leftists hate the Jews.

Wow...what do all these people have in common?

They're all losers in the game of life, and gaze on the educated, hardworking, industrious, and thus prosperous Jews‡ with envy and hate...believing that those evil people have taken what, somehow—in the pathetic fog of their dunderheadedness—rightfully belongs to them.

And there you have it.

*Yes many original Marxists (including Marx) were Jewish. Nevertheless, in the end, the ideology turned on them.

‡There are other prosperous groups...the generic "Middle Class" for example, that these parasites despise, and are seeking to suck dry as well. But since they are a motley group, unidentifiable as a race, religion or tribe, the antagonism is diffused and less specific. although the growing hatred of "white people" is indicative of the broadening scope of their untempered rage.

  1. Going from last to first, recall that King Saul, an evil man by any measure, was just as Jewish as Marx. My point is simply that Jews are not uniformly religious and some are outright atheists. So hatred for Jews is not strictly based on their compliance with religious duties. There must be something more to it. I think it is Biblical and borders on resentment, envy and the worship of evil.

Jews are God's "chosen people" and that does not require they acknowledge that role or the God that gave them that role. Many have rejected being "chosen," the God that chose them and His purpose for choosing them and are commonly called "secular Jews".

Nonetheless, anyone familiar with the Bible, and that includes every Muslim, is aware of the teaching that God's chosen people are the Jews. If you don't understand what "chosen" means, it is not surprising you would resent anyone making such a claim of "chosen"-ness. If you did understand what "chosen" means and hated God, that hate would extend to anything or anyone God has "chosen".

I think envy, the misunderstanding of "chosen" and the stereotypical behavior of secular Jews has a great deal to do with explaining anti-Semitism.

  2. There is a Yiddish joke that has a Jew complaining to God, "Oh Lord, you have chosen us from among the nations. So tell me, what do you have against us?"

Even "secular" Jews generally behave according to "Jewish" values.

Dennis Prager says they should "preach what they practice."

Making the point that while they preach "liberalism" they actually "practice" conservatism in their own, personal, private lives, i.e., strong family values, great respect for education, industriousness, personal responsibility, etc.
