If this nutjob had succeeded, you can bet the journaliars would have been all over the false Tea Party aspects of the story full tilt boogie for days, prompting a hysterical response form lawmakers violating even more of our civil rights...
...until all the damage was done, and then you might find a correction. Maybe. On page 32. (or its online equivalent).
Be careful what you read. Because the "media" is just that these days....not "newsmen" anymore. They are not different from propagandists, fiction writers or sensationalists.
