    Don't be bad-mouthin' Mel Taylor, man! :-)

    He may one of the all-time great drummers. Because he was sort of not appreciated for it, because he was "just playing rock and roll" back in the day, doesn't diminish his pure-D fucking amazingness.

    He, like, kisses the drums with those sticks, at a thousand miles an hour. It's totally awesome. It shouldn't even be possible. He's so nuanced and subtle in his playing, it's astonishing.

    There's a vid of a solo by Taylor...I'll find it and post it, and you'll see what I mean.

    You might even like the way he plays the bass with his drumsticks!
