ReplyDeleteThe fact is, gun control advocacy groups are experiencing a sharp decline in support.
Not unlike the global warming enthusiasts who continually propose even more apocalyptic world ending scenarios as their believers fall by the wayside, the brady bunch, hci, and others of their ilk are skewing and spinning figures in a last gasp effort to justify their existence.
I won't suggest that the battle has been won, but we do have them in a fetal position for the first time in years.
Thank you SCOTUS for interpreting for some, what the rest of us have always known.
Oh yea. And Fuck You Mayor Daley and your appeal to the World Court as well.
In my county, applications for CCH permits are up 250% since 0bama was elected, and not that it matters at all, but more than half are from women.
ReplyDeleteJust about everyone I know, nationwide, has a CCH permit. Boys and Girls alike.
Some friends of mine (Father, Mother, #2 Daughter) had car trouble (flat tire) on a major interstate, and pulled off to the side to change it. Shortly after, a car full of Mexicans (not that it matters) pulled in behind them...three guys approached them, and one of 'em had a baseball bat. The Mom is a beautiful woman, The Daughter is an absolutely gorgeous 17 year old. These guys were not there to help, the wanted the girls, and said so in English. Father draws gun, Mexicans run back to their car and speed away. Mother was telling me she was scared, and hates to think what would have happened if her husband hadn't had a gun. She now has a CCH and a .357 Lady Smith, and has been trained.
In this particular situation, no gun would've meant some Bad Bad Juju.
Sorry about being off topic, but your piece made my think about this. The Mom told me it was one of the most frightful moments of her life.
Similar situation happened to my Dad and brother years back,BadBadJuju. These "anti-gun" folks live in a candy-coated dreamworld,buffeted from Reality. Wishing Evil begone like a 5 year-old has no effect...it's still there.
