Gulf OIl

As to the question about why the Ø Regime is dealing so poorly with the BP Rig spill, I have found two lovely comments, each of which represent one of two ways of viewing this administration:

They are EVIL:
"They are waiting for a "crisis" to become a disaster that they can exploit in order to gain control of the petroleum industry. This is not incompetence on display. Everything they do, or refuse to do, is calculated to advance the agenda. They do not care about anything else."
They are STUPID:
"The administration environmentalists who demand to make the final decisions and yet refuse to approve making a little mess to prevent making a much bigger mess are the ones turning an accident into a catastrophe."

Of course, that's only if you read them separately. If you combine them, you get a glimpse of the bigger picture:
"They are waiting for a "crisis" to become a disaster that they can exploit in order to gain control of the petroleum industry... and administration environmentalists who demand to make the final decisions and yet refuse... [approval]... are turning an accident into...[the] catastrophe [the regime is hoping for]."
