  2. I love what an Arizona official of some kind,John Pearce (?),responding to California threat to boycott Arizona:along the lines of "Well, maybe you don't need the 25% of your electric power you import from Arizona". And,regarding "Illegal immigration/gang crime is up to the wimpy Feds to enforce, not states" argument...Bank robbery is a Federal offense, perhaps local police should just "step aside and let the Feds take care of it". THAT would work well...

  3. Also, after hearing clips of their jerk Calderon and our jerk Obama commenting on the new Az. law,my reaction was..."If it wasn't for illegals wiring money from here back to Mexico, your economy would be even MORE in the shitter than it already is,Calderon, and THAT'S the motive for your trepidation". As usual with politicians,it's about money, not 'justicias'...

  4. tj...I think it's more than just money. It takes the social pressure off the corrupt govt and Mexican elite to reform. The steam release valve opens right into the USA. If all the peasants were stuck in Mexico they'd revolt, and sweep the bastards from power. Can't have that.

  5. AZ also suggested that the Los Angeles "boycott" include all the electricity they buy from Arizona.

He said, surely if they were serious, they'd rather have the lights go off in L.A. than buy electricity from Fascist, Racist Arizona.

I understand he's still waiting for their response.

    Crickets.
