To my friends, of course your comments will all be posted as soon as possible, but it's way past time I ganked the foul-mouthed little troll and stopped him from stinking up the place.

ReplyDeleteI moved my site to WordPress at the end of last year. There is a "plugin" called "Akismet" that makes life easier, although the bottom line is, you have to monitor the trolls.
I hope / know you're thinking about all who served in the past, all who are serving now, and all who will serve in the future...we owe them a debt of gratitude that is hard to express.

It was a bit disconcerting to check out the site,and see this jerk(s)'s "provacateur"-ish posts,with no "clickable" link (which was his/her aim,of course).I even went to your "site-o-meter" track,clicked on time-relative posts,and got sent to irrelevant sites. If a poster is THAT cowardly to avoid debate....what can you do? To paraphrase Ayn Rand..."If your enemy denies Reason,you will not defeat them with Reason...".I commented on a blog excoriating BP for the Gulf mess (the usual "break them,bust them,evil Capitalists" screeds)with a "Hey,they gave Obama mucho dinero...how pure is your 'savior'? Ain't this a puppet show?"...No reply from these few remaining Obama-zombies. This is the most extreme example of Personality Cult the USA has experienced.Now we know how Russian citizens felt...

Good work on the moderation. I'm thick-skinned, but when they don't bring anything to the debate except vulgarity, I get bored easily. He'll find some other bog to squat on and filthy up and then they'll have to enable moderation to send him on his pathetic way.
