GIMME, GIMME GIMME!

Mark Knoller (and half the civilized world) agrees with me about the real message of Øbie's call for "bipartisanship". A few snippets follow (emphasis mine).

You can read the whole article here.

"It's a familiar refrain from U.S. presidents who can't get their way in Congress.

What these presidential appeals for bipartisanship always mean is: "do it my way!"

Mr. Obama said he "won't hesitate to embrace a good idea from my friends in the minority party." But he wants his way.

When a sitting president calls for bipartisanship by the opposition – he really means surrender. And if they block his proposals, its "obstinacy" and not political views they hold as strongly as he holds his. "

And that's exactly how he's going to paint the Republicans when they meet later this month. And if they're not careful, some of it will stick. Hope they're up to the challenge of holding back the Resident's Progressive assault, and also making it clear it's about PRINCIPLE.

Jug Ears is trying despeartely to get something passed on Healthcare so he can point to it and say "I did it." I don't want the Republicans to cede one damn inch to this A-hole. I also don't want middle of the road Republicans either, that was John McCain and that was just a disaster.

Nancy Pelosi has made a statement today: "Democrats WILL retain thier majority in the 2010 elections." This Biotch is clueless.

I have had all of the arrogance from the Dems that I can stand. Time to toss them off the cliff and be free of them forever. I am hoping people stay mad throught the 2012 Elections!

  2. Help them. Start a Patriot group to keep up the pressure. It's a lot of work, but you meet a lot of great people...and feel less "surrounded".

  4. Gee, what happened to "I won, and I will trump you on that"? Not so easy when the real world smacks you in the snoot.
