The White House escalated its offensive against Fox News on Sunday by urging other news organizations to stop "following Fox" and instead join the administration's attempt to marginalize the channel.What does he expect to gain from this? I think they're losing their minds in the White House. What the hell are they thinking? Their Chicago thug tactics aren't working...and there's nothing else in their playbook?
White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel told CNN that President Obama does not want "the CNNs and the others in the world [to] basically be led in following Fox."
Obama senior adviser David Axelrod went further by calling on media outlets to join the administration in declaring that Fox is "not a news organization."
"Other news organizations like yours ought not to treat them that way," Axelrod counseled ABC's George Stephanopoulos. "We're not going to treat them that way."
By urging other news outlets to side with the administration, Obama aides officials dramatically upped the ante in the war of words that began earlier this month, when White House communications director Anita Dunn branded Fox "opinion journalism masquerading as news."
David Carr, media columnist for the New York Times, THE NEW YORK TIMES! wrote:
"While there is undoubtedly a visceral thrill in finally setting out after your antagonists, the history of administrations that have successfully taken on the media and won is shorter than this sentence. So far, the only winner in this latest dispute seems to be Fox News. Ratings are up 20 percent this year."Where's a bookie when you need one?
He added: "The administration, by deploying official resources against a troublesome media organization, seems to have brought a knife to a gunfight."

I don't know what Obama and his Mob are thinking, but they should have pondered their situation a little deeper. You do not take on the number one News network.
Anita Dunn should be looking for another job...in the end, the Obama Mob will throw her off the truck and under the bus. Bobo and his goons can't win this one...and they know it.

They don't seem to realize that Chicago thug politics doesn't don't play too well on the national stage against serious, powerful opponents, whom their Illinois machine connections don't intimidate.

They've only got the one play....clear the field by destroying all opposition. Obama has used these tactics since the beginning. I don't think any of them have a "plan B"...
This is all they know, and it's always worked for them. Their entire playbook is one thin page with: "Destroy the enemy" typed on it.
Why would they be worried if its just mis-information like they like to call it? His job approval numbers are down for a reason, nobody with half a mind actually believes that one news channel could be responsible for that!! They don't like it when somebody calls them on the crimes they are committing. A real case of watch what this hand is doing over here.... so you don't notice that my other hand is on your wallet. Wonder why he hasn't apologized to them yet? Could it maybe be they are an American news channel and not a foreign one? His attitude is the hell with what America wants, who cares if I do something to make them angry as long as the rest of the world loves me!!!!!!!!!!
