These ideas would never have occurred to any "central planner" and could not have been rammed through the bureaucracy if they had. They were products of the creative chaos that prevails under true capitalism and is its chief, often overlooked virtue. (This, by the way, gives the lie to people John Kenneth Galbraith who contend that "planning" won WW II.) So let's all wave goodbye to GM while we still have the chance...
Obama cannot make it work. Here is a man whose entire basis of belief and action was that he was living outside of history, not subject to its lessons or limitations. He is now, as my old granddad used to say, getting a rude awakening, learning what truly capable presidents ranging from Lincoln to Truman to, yes, even the despised George W. Bush, knew at the beginning: that the limitations entwining a president are not less than those of the man in the street, they are greater.
And just for a moment, you might actually see light at the end of that tunnel.

Interesting article. Having been a victim of the UK's health system I would like to add a point that rarely gets mentioned. The health system is overloaded {and therefore utterly inefficient} in the UK not by those born and bred there, by those that have paid their taxes and paid into the National Health Service.
ReplyDeleteNo they get shoved to the back of the lines in favor of any beggar that turns up needing free medical help. The NHS was not set up as a free medical service for the rest of the world. But that is what it has become.
So any readers our there who cannot afford health care in the USA - this is what you should do... Beg, borrow or steal your fare to England. Only as a last resort should you work and save for your fare. Working is a habit for losers!
Once you arrive at a port in the UK, demand to see someone at the Social Services department. Don't worry if you don't speak English, demand a personal translator - you will get one. Upon arrival at the Social Serivces offices, demand a home, money, food and hospital care. You will get it. All free of charge.
And here is the wonderful thing. You will never have to work again. You will be given a nice home, money, health care, schooling and pension.
Do not worry that the natives of the land might feel resentful towards you for being seen as taking advantage of the system. There are laws to protect your human rights. Complain to the authorities, and you can be certain that anyone daring to voice their opinions on the injustices of immigration policies, will be dealt with swiftly. Hate crimes will not be tolerated. You will be entitled to everything you could possibly want or indeed need.
If you feel uncomfortable traveling on the public transport system (don't worry about the fare - yours will be free) to collect your welfare checks from the social services offices, let the nice people who work their know of your fears of feeling threatened. They will give you money to come by cab in future - save having to mix with the workers on the buses!
While you are sitting in your all expenses paid home you will have plenty of time to organise for the rest of your family and friends to join you. Remember you do not have to work ever again. And also remember the more children you have the more money you will get from the government. Don't forget the grandparents to. They will probably need plenty of free health care, and of course a pension.
Don't worry about language problems because the government will provide a translator and teachers who speak your native language to teach your children in the local schools.
So what are you all waiting for? Get over to Great Britain, before the money runs out. Or before the saps that work there wake up, stop funding the system that craps on them and they become Enemies of the Imperial State.

Totally paranoid. Yeah, right. The UK was once what one would call a Christian country. Now the Church of England is practically abandoned by its own clergy in the rush to suck up to the multi-racialism and multi-faith agenda forced upon the people by the government. The muslim population is exploding by immigration and by their incredible birth rates. They it would seem have no tolerance for multi-faith in the UK. Schools no longer use the bible to teach morals as this could be offensive to people of other faiths.

The list of assaults on the heritage of such a great nation is endless.
There is little if any national identity in the UK. It has been sacrificed to appease the new masses. When the people of a country are not tied by a national identity and love of their country they are at the mercy of lawless, self seeking governments.
Be warned U.S. it has happened in the UK. It is happening here. Laws are being introduced just as they were in Britain to stop free speech. To stop people saying "enough is enough". Its called hate crime.
Once Socialism gets a firmer grip on the U.S. and the new agendas kick in it will be to late.
This might sound like I am some kind of racist - I am not. I really do not care if you're white, black, brown, yellow or little blue men from Mars. Stay the f@*k where you are unless you are prepared to peacefully and willingly blend in with the people you choose to relocate to. Leave their traditions/cultures and general way of life alone. Work for what you need and live and let live.
