Just Deserts*

Some good news. Well, news that makes you laugh, anyway.

Check this out. The Democrats screw Specter via an outright lie by Reid:

"Despite promises from Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) that Sen. Arlen Specter (Pa.) would retain his seniority after switching parties, Specter will be put at the end of the seniority line on all his committees but one under a resolution approved on the floor late Tuesday."

(Is lying to Arlen Specter technically a sin?)

And Specter endorses Republican Coleman over Democrat Franken:

"Specter’s comments to the New York Times Magazine this weekend indicating he would support former Sen. Norm Coleman’s (R-Minn.) disputed re-election bid against Al Franken have angered many Democrats."

That "angered many Democrats" just kills me. They seduced a toxic traitor away from his party with promises of personal gain...and are surprised that he acts like a toxic traitor.

"Stupid is as stupid does"...as one of my favorite philosophers once said.

Stupid is marrying the man who had an affair with you while he was married to somebody else, and being surprised when he has an affair with someone else while he's married to you. What part of DUH don't you understand?

God....these assholes deserve each other.

Specter improved the odor in the party-room the moment he left it.
