SAN DIEGO -- A local pastor and his wife claim they were interrogated by a San Diego County official, who then threatened them with escalating fines if they continued to hold bible studies in their home, 10News reported.
I thought that this was just a tease, and that there would be more to the story...like everyone gets naked and parades through the neighborhood shouting Bible verses and scaring the horses.
But no. They just meet to study the Bible. And that has been deemed illegal in San Diego county.
Read it yourself. Un-be-fucking-lievable. (Praise the Lord.)

The First Amendment in shambles. The right to peaceably assemble, the right to freedom of speech, and the free exercise of religion all in the toilet.
ReplyDeleteThe due process clause of the Fourteenth applies the limitations of the First Amendment to each state, including any local government within a state. I'd like to see this one go to court.

ReplyDeleteIs it just me, or is the world (aka "this country") getting CRAZIER by the day? No wonder Dr. Sanity is getting more and more popular. Makes me want to go start a Bible study in my living room, just because.
