Rush and the "Kultursmog"

Let me take a moment to stand with Rush Limbaugh against the bogus attack, the phony controversy, the determined, purposefully misrepresented meaning of his comments regarding his hope that Obama fails.

Let me without hesitation, without exception, without explanation or caveat support Rush Limbaugh, and every Conservative who comes to his defense.

And let me say that the supposed conservative who is beguiled by the lies and misdirection of the Obama Swamp, should turn in his "conservative" credentials, be stripped of his membership...be scorned and shunned by real Conservatives hereafter.

"Yet the controversy demonstrates anew the validity of O'Sullivan's Law. The eponym of this law is John O'Sullivan, former aide to Lady Margaret Thatcher and former editor of National Review. According to O'Sullivan's law, in American culture if one is not firmly conservative one will fall prey to the liberals who dominate the culture, polluting it with their left-wing politics and creating what I call Kultursmog. "

Let us, like R. Emmet Tyrrell Jr. writing Rush to Rush at American Spectator, be real conservatives, who know what we believe and why. Let us be clear on our principles and our values. Because if we don't, we'll go for anything...just like the pathetic boobs who are following Obama over the cliff.

  1. I call Brooks,Noonan,Parker,et al. "Vichy Conservatives",myself...I'm glad there's enough "Maquis Conservatives" to make their lives miserable,as well.In a professional sense,of course...

  2. David Frumm. Did you see his piece about Rush? I only heard it quoted, but it was pretty nasty. Mark Levin had him on his radio show the other day, and he's calling for the "moderation" of the Conservative message in order to attract Blacks, Hispanics and Women.

He's advocating Leftist policies in order to increase membership in the Party. He wouldn't know a "principle" if he tripped over it.
