Things are deteriorating fast. Of course, with the Obama Show devastating the dollar, this is not actually a surprise. The Chinese, without actually mentioning the American dollar by name, is making it perfectly clear that they no longer trust the United States to be able to honor our commitments.
If this growing wave of distrust in our hollow dollar continues, we will find ourselves holding worthless paper, dollars worth less than the paper they're printed on.
I worry. The collapse of the dollar is an actual possibility now that the desire to abandon it as the reserve international currency is gaining...um...currency.
I don't want to live in Zimbabwe.

ReplyDeleteIt's a valid point. Market Watch pointed out recently that ALL of the gold in the world (at $900 oz) would not cover one-third of the current US debt.

They are the Renfields for this particular Dracula. Carter did the same maneuvers in late 70s,albeit not on this scale.And we all remember those "good times"...

I just don't know anymore tj. People are so ignorant, the media is so stupid and malfeasant...and the government is so corrupt...and the "President" despises everything America stands for!
We've never had all these things against us before. I'm genuinely worried our country won't survive.
