I Was An American

I think Herb London has pretty much said what so many of us think. Read his editorial, and see if you don't agree.

It's called "I Lost My Country".

And January 20 is the first official day of the Era of the End of America

I figure in four years we should be enough of a third world country that we might even vote to make Zero ("O"bama) President For Life.

Apparently this is the next step once the commies get power. Ask Zimbabwe and Venezuela.

Secession and Separation are the only answer. I'm becoming more convinced of it. Even if Zero isn't as bad as he appears to be, his "followers" and the rest of the parasites will drag us further and further down the road of collectivism.

As I've said before, if the STATE closes down Talk Radio—regardless of their feeble and lying rationalizations—it will be announcing its real, true-blue, Fascist intentions. And there will be no going back. The Founders (and true Americans) will have finally been utterly betrayed.

I don't have much hope.

I expect high taxes, high unemployment, hyper-inflation, an ever-growing STATE, excused to "put people to work", more eroding of private property rights, gun grabs, speech codes, political correctness run amok so that personal and private speech will be monitored and regulated by the STATE.

We will get Gay Marriage, rule by court fiat and executive order. Corruption is already endemic in all levels of government. It will only grow worse as God and Christianity and its attendant morality are further marginalized.

We will be taxed and impoverished because African "culture" rejects using condoms and they continuously and recklessly spread and die of AIDS. We will be taxed and impoverished because African thugs keep the continent in such a state of unheaval and civil war that growing their own food is impossible.

We will be regimented and rationed. We will be controlled and pacified. We will be ruled, not governed. We will pass our children into the serfdom our Founders and forefathers sacrificed and died to escape.

We will be given over the to lordship of World Thuggery known as the United Nations. We will be judged by the standards of Socialist Europe, and found wanting. And we will be told that it is we who are inferior, we who are uncivilized, we who are selfish, imperialist, cruel, racist.

And it all begins in 18 days.

  1. I share the same feelings. In an earlier time, before the growth of Big Government in the last few decades, not so much harm would've been done,no matter which clown was in the White House, but with so many Fucked-Up situations converging in a Perfect Storm scenario (3 generations of Idiocy fermenting among the citizenry, overthrow of Adult Reasoning towards issues, the Gazan Strip situation (where democratic politics put a terrorist group in charge, they do the usual actions of lobbing missiles day after day, then the chatterboxes are chastising the Israelis for defending themselves-"be a good Jew,be a dead Jew"),plus the wanton disregard of accountability,by both the politicians and "businessmen" in this economic clusterfuck,as well as the Brogo bs and Caroline Kennedy farce...Cicero must've felt similar, watching the Republic go down.It was a nice dream...perhaps the Human Race just isn't quite ready, and not worthy.

  4. I nearly cried when I read that article. The world is worse for the Zeroes of it. We can only hope that this nation comes to its senses and deals with this before it's too late. I'd hate to have to take this country back by force, but if that's what it takes...

  5. Anon, thanks for the link, it's now in my bookmarks!

TJ, I've only shot a Glock 40 once or twice. It's got a harsher kick than a 9mm, and it's snappier than a .45 too, if I remember correctly. But then I shoot steel 1911's and the Glock is polymer, so the comparison really isn't fair.

More power than a 9mm, so that's good.

I'm trying, personally to keep the different calibers to a minimum. My handguns are all .38, 9mm or .45 That's enough ammo to worry about. hehe.

John...Amen, brother. I couldn't agree more. Even though I sound radical, I do so because I think we need to consider the option, and not shrink from it...not because I think it's the best or immediate solution.

  6. Hey Guys,

    I shoot 9mm for a few reasons...

1)Contrary to popular opinion-- they do have stopping power. (On one particularly bad day I had to kill my childhood pal and constant riding companion.. my horse because she had broken her back... she was running around the back pasture with her back twisted dragging one leg in terrible pain. Shot her with one shot of 9mm stopped her dead... hated it but had to do it)

    2) I want to hit what I shoot at.

    3) Ammo is cheap.

    4) My wife can shoot it too.

etc.. for experienced shooters I can understand the .40 or .45 or even 10mm. For the average gun hack.. (like my wife and I) the 9mm is a good all around choice.

GS.. thank you for your good work. It does make a difference.

  7. Couldn't agree more. 9mm is a great caliber. That's the gun I really learned to shoot with.

It doesn't have the stopping power of a .45 or magnums, of course, but it's a perfectly adequate firearm...and it's easy to shoot.

And like you say, it doesn't matter how big the bullet is if it doesn't hit what you aim at!
