No More RINOs

Doug Patten, another conservative who understands what's necessary to revive the walking dead thing known as the GOP.

I voted for Arnold. To get rid of Gray Davis. As always, compromising principles to win nets you a loss. I knew he wasn't a real conservative. Hell, he's barely a Republican. But, like my vote for John McCain, the only attraction was that he was "not the other guy"...and he had a real chance to win.

I didn't vote for the real Conservative, Tom McClintock, on the ballot, because his chances were slim. Shame on me. I got what I asked for, as did we all.

I'm sick of that choice. We're in the situation we're in...both the Party and the Nation...because of those less than satisfactory alternatives—and Republicans' failure to insist that our candidates be Conservatives.

We have to stick to principles. No more compromising for power. We see where that gets us.
