More Good News

I found this piece by Michael Medved, a guy I often disagree with. But it's so depressing and hopeless, it totally suits my mood, and I'm inclined at the moment to completely agree with him.

Republicans, touting liberty, country, honor and virtue, just don't have a chance anymore in this sick, stupid, over-indulged, complacent, under-educated, appetite and emotion driven backwater that used to be known as The Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave.

Democrats, whose only "policies" are promises of goodies to all their greedy little factions of homosexuals, and trial lawyers, and teachers, and envirostasi, and health nazis, and corrupt unions and abortionists and racist blacks and criminal illegal aliens, and radical feminists, et al—without a second thought to integrity or the future, has the "gimme" vote all sewn up.

And, dude, there are a lot more of them than there are of us. And given the Democrat strategy of dividing everyone into "identity" groups, and then pimping for and pandering to every one of them, their constituency, given what "Americans" have become, will increase exponentially.

The good news is we'll probably be attacked by Islamofascists pretty soon. And then all the degenerates, libertines and parasites will suddenly, because their fat asses have targets painted on them, want a grownup in the White House. That's when they elect Republicans.

Okay, it's not good news. They'll probably hit a church and kill a bunch of Republican Christians. And The Prince of Peace will issue a decree saying "both sides should show restraint," and pass an edict taxing the church for the resulting mess, to include damages for the emotional stress experienced by every Muslim in America who will be thrown into abject fear of "reprisals".

Yes, I'm in a black, black mood. No fucking pun intended.

  1. Agreed. This is no Kum-bah-yah moment.

And fuck the idea of being "gracious" to that bird-flipping child/man who will be eventually eaten by the machine that has elected him.

I opine the same things at home but get a "don't be so dramatic" look. Fine. But I called it for Clinton the moment I first saw him on television, after living out of the country for five years. One's mind tends to be finely tuned to platitudes after living in harsh reality. I saw Clinton tickling ears shamelessly. I said, "he's gonna get elected."

And when he did, when he gave his first SoTU speech a few months later, I said, "he's going to be re-elected in four years. He's saying what sheep want to hear."

    I was right then.

    You are right now.

Except, we'll have Barry for eight years, too. We'll need that long to build a new party.

  2. Thank God!

Even my buddy, who claims to be "to the right of Attila the Hun" seemed to think my response was too radical, and (I suspect) not very "nice".

I was starting to get paranoid.

Oh, I can't EVEN talk about this stuff to my sisters. They accuse me of being brainwashed by "talk radio".

While they parrot MSM lies to me by the mile.

    Duct Tape! Head exploding!

    Thanks for the validation, Joan.
