Reprobates and Heretics

I was raised a Catholic. And I really resent this asshole. It's so typical of the Left: Pretend you're something you're not so people won't throw you off a building. Michael Sean Winters works really hard to pretend he's a Catholic, trying to influence actual Catholics to reject Gov. Palin as a "bad Catholic".

This reprobate is falsifying Catholic doctrine to insinuate that Sarah Palin is a bad Catholic. I'm guessing he has no sense of irony.

His argument: As an infant, Sarah Palin was baptized Catholic. When she was still in swaddling clothes, her family moved to Alaska and joined the Assembly of God Church in Wassila. When she was old enough—12 years—Sarah was baptized in that church. ERGO: She "rejected" her "Catholic Faith". By the act of submitting to baptism in another church she became a Catholic apostate. (And we don't like them, do we, Catholics!)

I'm waiting to see if he'll try to reconstitute the Inquisition to declare her a Heretic next.

Can I say it again? What an asshole. Catholics should rise up and pummel him with their crucifixes. I haven't been to church in 30 years and it pisses me off that he'd attempt to use Catholicism to abuse Governor Palin, who embodies the morals, virtues and character that real Catholics admire.
