I'm so proud of the News Media for their dedication to exposing the potentially dangerous and criminal and extreme backgrounds of the candidates...

Well, I would be if it were true. But while they leave Obie's foul nest of vipers alone, they are scouring Alaska, demanding subpoenas for everyone in sight in order to dig up anything possible to harm Sarah Palin.

They are currently desperately demanding to subpoena her husband.

If they find nothing, they will cry "cover-up!"; if they find a speck, they'll photoshop it into a mountain.

But, I think they've already surrendered what little credibility they had left. They're rabid, foaming pursuit, savagely snapping at her heels, has infuriated so many that even if they actually did find anything of substance, I'm not sure anyone would believe them.

They will be flummoxed by the collective yawn from the Heartland...even as they spin themselves into a tizzy in their little blue bubble.

"Jumping the Shark" doesn't just apply to TV shows.
