For Lord of the Rings geeks like me...think Sauron...gathering his strength to rise again.

Not a pretty idea. And Georgia...an ambitious and thriving democracy. We should be there helping them. But I think the energy crisis is stopping us. And we should be ashamed we have become so weak and dependent that we can't help our friends because we're in thrall to the devil for oil.
