The Rise and Fall of Agore

I just can't stand it.

Another "global cooling" story.

My face muscles are getting stiff from grinning.

It won't be long before Agore reaps what he has sown. (Besides the millions he's skimming from suckers buying carbon credits, I mean.)

One of these days, I will enjoy the spectacle of him being publicly, completely and humiliatingly exposed as the fraud and swindler he is, in front of God and everybody.

And it will make my heart glad.

Praise the Lord.

  1. That's not a global cooling story. From the article:

La Nina ... [will lower global] temperatures by a fraction of a degree. But ... temperatures in 2008 ... well above average for the past 100 years... around 0.4ÂșC warmer than the average for 1961-1990.

  2. Less than 1 degree rise in temperature over the last few hundred years is just a normal fluctuation in the earths climatic cycles.
The sad part is when alarmists try to tell us the temperature has been relatively even for the last thousand years and has spiked upwards in the last hundred, nothing could be further from the truth.
The Medieval Warm Period, of which the proponents of Anthropogenic Global Warming don't want you to be aware, was a period in which agriculture flourished, helping Europe emerge from the Dark Ages.
The Little Ice Age produced crop failures from too-short growing seasons leading to widespread hunger and even starvation in some more northern locales.
Since our emergence from the Little Ice Age, agriculture has again flourished, and most of us hope it lasts quite a while longer. This is certainly no cause for panic, and a few of us think being comfortably warm and having plenty to eat is actually good.
