April Comparisons

You will probably hear about this, screeched about as another argument for why our troops must leave Iraq immediately. Of course, it's a bad thing when two of our boys get killed by some filthy ragheads who should just be shot on sight before they can harm their betters...

...but I can't help but wonder if this story will get equal billing...just to put things in perspective.

The first is a war zone, the second is an American City...where you ought to have some expectation of not being blown away while you're doing your nine-to-five at..oh, a plumbing supply store, for example.

When will we be prepared to identify vermin no matter where they live? When will we grow the 'nads to do what's necessary to clean the infestation out in either locale?
