Because the "surge" has been working in Iraq, and there is no bad news to report, no way to twist it into a defeat, Big Media are pretty much ignoring it. Perusing the front pages of most newspapers, you'd be hard pressed to find any indication that a war is going on.
But we are still fighting the same war against the same savage, unrelenting enemy that we were fighting last year when our apparent defeat so thrilled the media that they focused on it like a laser beam to the almost complete exclusion of any other story.
Our Boys are still there. And the stakes are the same.
Brigadier General Jim Cash has written an analysis of those stakes and what they mean for America. I think it's important that we defy Big Media, and remember that we're fighting, and what we're fighting for.
You can read the article here along with an archive of the General's articles.
Please note: he sees a Democratic Administration as a disaster for the Country—in the long term. I respectfully disagree, and believe it would be better—in the long term—to elect Hillary and obstruct everything she tries, than John McCain and have Republicans implementing those very same policies.
