Idiots Cause Tiger's Death

Say what you want. I'm for killing the idiots and saving the tiger.

You may have heard about a Siberian Tiger who was shot dead by San Francisco Police in the S.F. Zoo, after killing one drunk punk, and attacking his two buddies.

The Zoo is admitting that the walls of the enclosure are lower than the recommended height. Not good. But, the Dhaliwal brothers have made a pact (overheard by witnesses) to not cooperate with the investigation, "Don't tell them what we did."

The beautiful female Siberian Tiger, Tatiana, is dead. One Darwin Award winner,
Carlos Sousa Jr., has already been removed from the gene pool, and his buddies have conspired to keep their reported animal taunting/provoking behavior a secret.

They will undoubtedly sue the City, the Zoo, or both.

Please take note: Mark Garagos is their lawyer. Yes, that one. Scott Peterson's famous, publicity hound lawyer. I can only hope he has as much success with this case as he did with that one.

They report that teasing an animal at the zoo is a misdemeanor. They're wrong. It's a capital offense. And the sentence is death.

  1. The Dhaliwal brothers are hiding something, since they didn't allow police to look at what's on their cell phones. I'm with you 99% on this one. The 1% of disagreement is because a witness at the zoo said Sousa was the one guy in the group who wasn't harassing the cats, and seemed embarrassed by the behavior of his buddies.

Gargagos makes me as ill as publicity-hound Gloria Allred. The good news is that he never seems to win a case. I have a feeling that if the public starts to view his clients as jerks, he'll drop them as his clients because it will make him look bad.

And a thumbs down to Faux News. When the zoo reopened last Thursday (I think,) I saw several stories by local news stations about a memorial at the zoo to both the tiger and the victim. Faux tried to incite its viewers by portraying the memorial as a tribute only to the tiger, and accused SF residents as caring about tigers, but not people.

  2. Steve,

I can't stand bias in the news, whether trying to make libs or cons look bad...for one's agenda.

That's what pissed me off about the stupid attack on Hillary's "anger meltdown", which was nothing of the kind.

Can't we just have the TRUTH, please??

RE Sousa. That would be too bad if fate killed the innocent one. On the other hand, if you hang with assholes...

And in an earlier story my sister found, the boy who was killed was stradling the enclosure wall.

I haven't heard that since...so it might just have been an early report, since corrected.

  3. Still lots of different accounts of what happened at the zoo, Carol. I'm sure Garagos will clear it all up! Heh-heh.

  4. Just heard on the am radio...he's suing the city.

Not that there was any doubt.

He's exactly the sort that gives lawyers a bad name.
