Gun-Free Zone Liability Act

OK, if they're going to use the Civil Courts to shove their agenda down our throats, maybe it's time we get in the game. We've allowed them that field to themselves too long.

Here's a good first shot: THE GUN-FREE ZONE LIABILITY ACT: "If you create a gun-free zone, you're liable for any harm it causes."

This will end Gun-Free Zones pretty damn quick. Hell, everything else has been altered, ruined or canceled because of "liability" laws prompted by morons, sissies and whiners.

Let's use their game against them!

  1. This seems like another attempt to take guns away from the American citizens. I don’t think anyone will take any notice of a gun free zone. You either have them or you don’t and America is to far down the gun zone to pull back now. Anyway I have fallen off your blog role again. This isn’t a coincidence is it?

  2. Ian,

I don't know what the hell happened! I absolutely did not remove you!

WTF? I put you back AGAIN. Are you blocked or something???

The Liability Act makes anyone who CREATES a Gun-Free Zone in which subsequently, the unarmed victims are shot up by a criminal who ignored the "rules" can be held liable for harm caused by disarming law-abiding, licensed gun carriers.

Creating a gun-free zone is easy: just put up a sign. No consequences to you...just to the unarmed victims you create.

This makes anyone considering creating a gun-free zone think twice...as there may be huge consequences for HIM for doing so.

    I think it's a great idea.
I think it will serve to discourage thoughtless gun-free zones, done out of ignorance or anti-gun bias, or political correctness.

And if someone decides to go ahead anyway, he'll understand the possible consequences, and likely will make sure by some adequate means, that criminal elements are NOT bringing guns into the zone, as it would cost him dearly.

Indeed, the idea of searching everyone, or having metal detectors at your mall, might just be such a hassle and expense...all in order to indemnify you against suits by unarmed victims of shooting attacks, might just make creating a gun-free zone more difficult and costly than otherwise---the exact opposite of the situation now.

People will do the cheapest and easiest thing.

This law would make it potentially VERY expensive to create a Gun-Free Zone, which works in our favor.

  3. GFZ labeling is bullshit.
I spend 10 months of the year away from home for extended periods in states different from the one in which I live.
I do not have a carry permit from any state in which I travel.
I do not have a carry permit in the state that I maintain a residence, although I do have every good intention of doing so, sometime.
I carry a sidearm whenever and wherever I feel the necessity and if it's not on my person it's very close by.
I'm grateful that I've never had to use my gun in a critical situation. But should I ever find myself in a position that requires intelligent, lethal force I won't hesitate simply because I'm not legal.
    Two things to remember:
"There's the law and then there's what's right".
    and
"To live outside the law you must be honest".

  4. Alphadog...totally agree.

The entire fucking state of California is a "gun-free zone".

    Officially.

  5. Yes I agree. Anyone who is willing to carry a gun an use it to do wrong wont really take to much notice of the gun free zone sign. A gun free zone is practically like laying down your weapons on the front line. If only we had gun laws like your own. We could has shot the terrorists before they had the chance to detonate their bombs in 7/7. I don’t think I am banned from blogspot. If they were bitchy about me it wouldn’t cease to surprise. They shouldn’t be though because I am not an activist. Everything I do is to a professional standard. Suits, boots and fancy dos!!!
